"Yuuma isn't waking up. I am worried now..." thought Unknown, looking at the afternoon sun. "There's still a week left. I wonder if he'd survive..."
Unknown climbed down the tree, venturing out to find more survivors... "Should I leave that kid alone with his miserable condition?" thought Unknown.
Unknown continued, "Nevertheless, he's going to die in an hour or two... I must not leave him alone while dying..."
With this thought, Unknown climbed back up, and sat right next to Yuuma, looking at him.
As Unknown checked his pulses, a thought struck his mind, "After he dies, I can eat him and survive for the rest of the week..."
"What am I thinking?!" yelled Unknown, followed by a slap on his face...
"How could I even th-think of something so horrible?!" screamed Unknown, slapping himself again, disgusted by his thought.
Unknown sat quietly, staring at the cloudy afternoon sky, hiding the sun which shone brightly all the morning... Unknown thought, "Seems it's going to rain soon...."
He saw several flock birds flying across the sky, chirping alarmingly... Unknown ignored them, closing his eyes, trying to get some rest in the soothing breeze...
Little did he know, this was the calm before the storm...
"HELP!!!", a horrified scream echoed through the area. Unknown's attention shifted...
"SAVE US!!", another desperate plea echoed.
Unknown climbed onto the highest branch of the tree, trying to locate the survivors...
"I can't see anyone..." murmured Unknown....
But the confusion didn't last long... huge flames and clouds of smoke erupted from various parts of the forest, as if they were being set, systematically...
A pack of wolves drifted across the area, some of them lit on fire... Unknown couldn't believe his eyes...
"W-What the... fu-" murmured Unknown, as more animals were seen running for their lives, avoiding the wildfire.
Unknown finally saw three kids running along the wolves, one of them completely covered in blood...
Without hesitation, he jumped down of the tree, landing between the chaos... The wolves stumbled upon him as he pushed them away, trying to reach the kids...
"ARGH" screamed Unknown, as a wolf's claws ripped through his skin... Unknown thought, "At this rate, I wouldn't be able to reach them... I need to do something..."
He shouted, "Hey!!! Look here!!! I'll save you!! Grab onto a wolf and reach me!!!"
The panicked kids couldn't notice him and ran to the other side, only to get stomped under the feet of hundreds of wolves...
Unknown couldn't believe his eyes... Three lives. Three lives were lost in front of him, and all he could do was watch them... He gritted his teeth. "Wh-Why!? WHY?!!?" screamed Unknown...
A wolf leaped over Unknown and tried to kill him. Unknown, driven by anger, grabbed his mouth and tore it open, its blood falling over his face....
Hopeless, Unknown grabbed the trunk of his tree and climbed back up... He looked up at Yuuma's pale body, checked his pulses once again, and whispered in his ear, "Wake up buddy, don't die here..."

"S-Sir! There's a sudden spike in the number of deaths! 28 trainees have died in the past 1 hour!" claimed Airi, overwhelmed...
"What?!" yelled Taishiro and Shigen together, astonished...
"Check the environmental conditions of the area! NOW!!", commanded Taishiro, anxious about Shikito...
Airi stared at the data for a moment, and said, "The air quality is worsening... Concentration of Carbon Monoxide is increasing in various regions of forest! Seems like a wildfire!"
"Is the fire accumulated to one region? Or erupting out from various regions?" asked Shigen, his voice deep and loud.
"The fire isn't accumulated... As per the carbon concentration it is expanding from about 12 regions of the forest." answered Airi, visibly scared at the data...
Taishiro, after examining the data turned to Shigen and asked, "Do you think it's the Ant-hill tribes? The cannibals who declared that hybrid snake as their God?"
Shigen nodded, "Yes. I've never seen them going hostile to this extent... We need to abort the test. Or else...."
"Yes...." replied Taishiro.
"Airi! Inform the headquarters! This is urgent!" commanded Taishiro...
Airi replied, "C-Copy that!"

Unknown stood at the highest branch of his tree, witnessing the death of forest... The mountain faintly visible in the fog was completely engulfed in flames. Thick clouds of smoke covered the sky...
"I need to get out of here, the smoke and flames would reach here in barely 3-4 hours..." thought Unknown, his body shivering as he continued to recall the death of those three kids....
Tigers, Lions, Foxes, Wolves, Snakes, Bears, Deer ran across the forests for their lives, as the flames spread around swiftly...

"OOOOOHHHHHH TAKE IT EASYY WOLFYY!!!", echoed a scream from the east, catching Unknown's attention as he looked around...
He saw a boy riding a wolf, a girl tied to him with a piece of cloth, clinging onto him tightly...
Unknown yelled with all his might, "Hey!!! Stop!!! Look up!!!"
The boy looked up at Unknown and pulled the wolf's ear making it fall to the ground... The boy and the girl fell off... The fox stood up and ran away...
Unknown climbed down quickly and helped them to get up. "Be quick!! We can't stay at the ground for long! Climb up that tree!!"
The boy argued, "Her right leg is injured!! She can't climb!"
"I'll take her up..." answered Unknown, he continued, "Till then, you go and climb up the tree..."
Unknown lifted the girl, and helped her climb as the boy managed to get up...
"Phewww!!! WE ARE SAFE YOOHOO!!" screamed the boy.. The girl slapped him and said, "Shut up Shikito! We aren't safe yet!!"
Shikito held his face and said, "Why did you slap me, Suzume!!??!"
Suzume cried and slapped him again, "We are all going to die! Just! Shut up!!"
Shikito looked around and saw Yuuma. He jumped, yelping, and said, "Look!! Yuuma's here too!!" He paused for a moment and continued, "What happened to Yuuma?!!?"
Suzume stopped sobbing and turned around, looking at Yuuma.
"You both know him?" asked Unknown, preparing a bandage for Suzume's leg from the medicinal leaves he found...
"Y-Yes..." replied Suzume... "He is our friend... But... what hap-"
A loud spine-chilling roar echoed from somewhere distant in the forest...
Suzume and Shikito froze in fear, recognising the roar... Shikito stammered, "I-It's the dinosaur monster...."
