Chapter 232 - A Shameless Prince and A Silent Danger

Hearing the warning Alvin had just uttered, Felix froze. For the first time, he discovered a shocking fact: Allen, the youth who always appeared so calm, was actually the type of person whose level of possessiveness far exceeded Arken's.

Slowly, the blue-haired prince turned his head, staring intently at the side of the purple-haired youth's face, who was currently embracing one of Kazien's forms beside him.

Felix truly hadn't expected this. All this time, he had seen Allen as the calmest, most rational, and most dignified among all of his best friend's fiancés. The purple-haired youth rarely exploded in anger or acted impulsively. However, knowing that beneath the surface of that still water lay a deadly whirlpool made the hair on the back of Felix's neck stand up.

If it were Arken, it would still make sense. Felix thought to himself, his eyes still disbelieving the warning he had just heard from Alvin. Arken is the explosive type. He always acts aggressively and doesn't even hesitate to show murderous intent if a stranger openly approaches his fiancé. It's all clearly visible in his face and actions.

Felix swallowed hard, looking back at Allen's peaceful face as he closed his eyes on Kazien's lap.

But this is Allen? he screamed again in his heart, feeling as if he had just been splashed with cold water. I'm truly shocked. All this time, I've seen him as the one who always acts normal and calm when facing anything. It turns out that he, the one who doesn't say much, is actually the most dangerous of them all if the limit of his patience is reached.

While Felix was still struggling with his own thoughts and feeling a bit intimidated, the same did not apply to Allen. The purple-haired youth seemed indifferent to the prince's shocked stare. He was still lost in his own comfort, eyes closed while tightly embracing the body of the one he loved so much in the warm water of the huge bathtub.

"Just enjoy your time, Prince Felix." Allen said suddenly, breaking the silence. His voice flowed casually and calmly, yet it carried a weight that made anyone listen. "If you were a stranger we didn't know, I probably wouldn't have stood by and watched you be so intimate with my fiancé from the start. But... I also don't want to act selfishly and ruin the close relationship you two have had since childhood just because of my actions."

Hearing Allen's very mature yet boundary-setting words, Felix felt slightly relieved. He loosened his hug on Kazien a bit and looked at Allen.

"Do you really not mind if I sit on your fiancé's lap in this naked state?" Felix asked once more, trying to ensure he wouldn't be frozen into an ice statue after leaving this bathroom.

"Yes, I won't mind for now." Allen answered quickly, finally opening his violet eyes to look at Felix. "Because after we finish participating in this tournament, the four of us and Erica will graduate from the academy immediately."

Hearing Allen's words just now, Felix was beyond shocked. His eyes widened, unable to ignore the fact he had just heard. He had only just learned this information, and it was truly beyond his expectations.

"W-What did you say?" Felix exclaimed, his voice rising slightly in shock. "Graduate? How can you graduate so quickly? You've only just finished your first year at the academy!"

"It's all because of the achievements of Class 1-D. Everyone unreasonably received perfect scores during the exams because of our fiancé's doing." Allen replied flatly, referring to Kazien who had trained an entire class into academic and combat monsters. "The teachers at the academy believe that his continuous presence there will only call the credibility of the professors into question. The knowledge Kazien teaches even surpasses their curriculum."

Allen sighed softly, tightening his embrace on Kazien. "The reason is indeed logical from the academy's perspective." Allen continued. "But, thanks to that decision, we can leave there immediately and start adventuring across the world. We must move quickly to prepare ourselves for the great disaster that will happen in the future."

Felix was speechless. He understood the direction of the conversation perfectly and couldn't say much to stop it. As a prince who knew Kazien's true identity, he was well aware that Kazien and his three fiancés carried a very important and heavy task directly from the Goddess.

A sense of loss began to creep into the prince's heart. His time with his childhood friend was apparently much shorter than he had imagined.

"I hope your journey goes smoothly without any obstacles." Felix said in a slightly low voice, filled with sincere hope from the bottom of his heart. "But I will definitely miss you all once you leave the capital."

"In this world, where there is a meeting, there will surely be a parting, won't there?" Alvin chimed in suddenly with a gentle, soothing smile. "At least, for now, just enjoy your time with our fiancé before we truly leave and return to the Altavis territory."

Hearing the green light from Alvin, Felix felt a bit of spirit return, though his heart was still filled with a trace of sadness. He looked at Alvin hesitantly.

"W-Would it be alright if for the rest of the time I want to sleep with Kazien and you all in this pavilion, and when we arrive at the capital later?" Felix emboldened himself to ask.

"No problem!" Alvin answered quickly, not minding at all. "As long as in the future, when you ascend the throne, you prove your words and become the great king our fiancé expects you to be."

Felix smiled broadly. He never thought that Alvin would give a condition that was already his main ambition, a condition he would surely fulfill without hesitation.

"At that time, I already promised him, right?" Felix replied with eyes radiating determined conviction. "I will definitely become a great king, even surpassing my own father!"

"Okay! The four of us will be direct witnesses to your words and oath right now!" Alvin said with a satisfied smile.

"Of course, Alvin! You can hold me to my word!"

After that conversation, the atmosphere became calm and peaceful once again. Felix leaned his head back, enjoying the comfort of being in Kazien's embrace and lap. He hugged his best friend's body tightly, as if wanting to record every bit of his warmth.

Soon, I will truly part with Kazien. Felix thought with a slightly sad and stifled feeling. They will leave the kingdom for a very long time, and who knows when we can meet casually like this again. It seems I must make the best of the time we have left together.
