That night, moonlight broke through the gap in the large bedroom window curtains, providing soothing, dim lighting. In the spacious bedroom, Arken was already lying comfortably, hugging one of Kazien's clone bodies, while Alvin and Allen sat on the edge of the main bed.
However, for Kazien, the tranquility of the night could not quell the storm in his mind.
He sat leaning against the headboard, his eyes staring blankly at the wardrobe, but his mind drifted far to his father's words in the living room earlier.
"Can Allen also bear your offspring like Alvin?"
That question kept echoing, creating scenarios that made Kazien's stomach churn. He sighed heavily, his face looking so burdened.
Allen, who had been noticing his fiancé's mood change, shifted closer. He gently touched Kazien's hand.
"Kazien..." called Allen softly. "Do you really not want me to bear a child for you?"
Kazien turned, looking at his cousin's cute face. He answered quickly and firmly, without a shred of doubt. "Of course I don't!" exclaimed Kazien, his tone rising slightly due to frustration. "Listen, I am willing to marry you and Alvin for one main reason: you are men! And both of you have cute faces that I really like."
Kazien massaged his throbbing temples. "If I really wanted biological offspring, or if my parents kept demanding I have children, wouldn't it be better if I just married a real woman from the start? Why would I bother marrying a man?"
He looked at Alvin and Allen alternately, his gaze softening but implying pain.
"Unfortunately, I am not attracted to women! My heart has chosen you. But... the thought that you could turn into women and get pregnant, this has made my chest feel tight and created an extraordinary dilemma!" continued Kazien, pouring out all his turmoil.
Hearing that honest confession, Allen smiled faintly. He understood Kazien's fear. Without saying anything, Allen leaned forward.
Tap!
Allen pressed his forehead against Kazien's forehead gently.
The world seemed to stop for a moment. Their eyes looked at each other from a very close distance, sharing warmth and the same breath. Kazien could see his reflection in Allen's clear eyes.
"You don't need to worry, Kazien..." whispered Allen, his voice calming. "Honestly, I also don't want to have children."
Allen closed his eyes for a moment, then opened them again. "Physically, I am a real man. It is very impossible and unusual for a man to give birth to a child, unless there is a crazy miracle like what happened to Alvin."
Allen's face turned a bit sad as he imagined the future that might happen if it came true.
"I don't know what will happen to my child later if people find out that their mother is a man," continued Allen softly. "This world is cruel, Kazien. Wouldn't that child be scorned? They would be bullied mercilessly by their friends for having parents considered weird."
Kazien was stunned. He felt immensely relieved because it turned out Allen thought the same way as him.
Without hesitation, Kazien wrapped his arms around Allen's body, hugging him tightly with their foreheads still touching.
"Thank you, Allen. Thank you for understanding," mumbled Kazien.
The dilemma that had been choking him slowly faded away after hearing Allen's true feelings. The burden on his shoulders felt lighter.
Seeing that intimacy, Alvin, who was sitting on the other side of the bed, smiled. However, his curiosity arose at an unexpected moment.
"Allen?" called Alvin suddenly, breaking the romantic moment.
Allen released his forehead from Kazien and turned. "Yes, Alvin, what is it?"
"While you are with him... I mean, as long as you love Kazien and are near him, have you never felt lust?" asked Alvin bluntly.
Kazien choked on his own saliva. His eyes bulged at Alvin. However, Allen responded casually, although his cheeks blushed deep red.
"Very often!" answered Allen honestly. He glanced shyly at Kazien. "Especially since Kazien is very handsome and dashing. It would be a lie if I didn't want him!"
Allen then looked at Alvin with a respectful gaze. "But... you and he have never done it, right?"
Alvin shook his head. "Not yet."
"Well, that's it!" continued Allen. "As his second wife-to-be, it is very impossible for me to precede the first wife like you. If we want to be intimate, at least you have to do it with Kazien first."
Allen was silent for a moment, then added innocently. "Or... we do it together, the three of us!"
Kazien's jaw dropped. He gaped in disbelief. His genius brain short-circuited again hearing that frontal conversation. How could the two of them talk about intimacy so easily, as if discussing the dinner menu?
Kazien turned stiffly to the other side of the bed. Right next to Alvin, there was Arken who was hugging Kazien's clone body. The boy's eyes were wide open, blinking innocently looking at him.
"Alvin... Allen..." hissed Kazien in panic. "Why are you talking about such vulgar things near Arken?!"
Alvin and Allen jumped in surprise. They simultaneously turned to Arken. Their faces went pale instantly realizing their carelessness in accidentally discussing things they shouldn't have.
"Forgive us, Arken!" exclaimed Alvin and Allen together, their faces red with embarrassment. "We both got carried away!"
Arken turned, then grinned widely. A grin that showed he might understand more than they suspected.
"It's okay, Brother Alvin, Brother Allen." replied Arken casually, tightening his hug on Kazien's body. "Just pretend I'm not here. Just continue the chat. Hehehe."
But Kazien felt something hardening in Arken's crotch. And instantly he slapped his forehead. My brother's innocence is ruined, he thought resignedly.
The night grew later. The sound of regular breathing began to fill the room. Alvin, Allen, and Arken finally fell asleep in their respective dreams.
However, Kazien was still awake.
He staring at the ceiling of the room. Even though Allen had calmed him down earlier, the remnants of anxiety still gnawed at his heart.
His mind spun back to the worst possibility.
Goddess Nirfelia, honestly, I don't want Allen to bear children.
Kazien sighed deeply without a sound so as not to wake the people next to him.
Humans and elves are very different. Alvin is an exception because he is the only high elf in this world, but Allen is an ordinary human. I really don't want my children to become victims of bullying or be looked down upon by society just because their mother is a man.
The image of his child crying coming home because of being teased by friends made Kazien's chest ache.
Of course, it would be very painful for them. I don't want ego or unnecessary miracles to destroy their future later on.
Time passed slowly. Night turned to morning. Sunlight began to peek from behind the curtains, signaling a new day had arrived.
However, even when morning arrived, Kazien still couldn't close his eyes peacefully. Faint dark circles were visible under his eyes. His mind was still fixed on one nightmare that kept haunting him all night.
The image of a pregnant Allen and the possibility of Alvin and Allen turning into women simultaneously.
For Kazien who fell in love with the cute charm of their male faces, it was a very painful thing. Imagining the two people he loved suddenly turning into beautiful women, even if only temporarily, made him feel like he was losing the identity of his love.
Hopefully, that never happens, he hoped desperately while staring at the ceiling of his room.
