Jay's POV
We heard someone shout, " Girll" and we both realised who it was, it was Sara and we turned to see the whole gang looking shocked by seeing us together
Sara: " What are doing here?"
Mica: " Yeah, We tried calling you both but you guys didn't answer"
Calix: " And why are both sitting next to each other like some creepo"
They started bombarding us with the questions, we were little stunned and Keifer was shocked and silent.
I jumped in for the rescue
Jay: " ahn, We were just having dinner because, I won a bet with Keifer and now he owes me dinner and he is sitting here because … I also get to slap because I won the bet"I said so fast I didn't even know how I managed to lie so fast and Keifer next to me was shocked but I didn't know whether it was for how I could lie so fast or for the slap part, I mostly think it was for the slap part.
Keifer: " My phone was in silent so I did not notice"
Jay: " Yeah mine too"
Sara: " Yeah, Whatever, now let's just move to a bigger Table where all of us can sit"
We nodded but I could the disappointed face of Keifer and honestly I was disappointed too because it was our first date.
We all moved to the bigger table and settled down and ordered our food and everyone was looking at me expectantly
I asked them, " why"
Calix: " aren't you going to slap him?"
Jay: " ahn, why?"
Sara: " the bet girl!"
I nodded my head and looked and apologised with expression and slapped him and I felt so bad, he was rubbing his cheeks and everyone was laughing. I slightly cursed everyone under my breathe.
After that everyone started chatting the usual stuff about college untill
David started, " Keifer, you are single right?"
I chocked on my drink and Mica quickly helped me with the tissues and Keifer was stunned by the question and by the he was looking, honestly he wanted to answer No, but couldn't because of me.
Keifer hesitated and said, " Yes" even though I was the one who came up with the whole private thing I did not like it.
David: " Great, You know there is girl in my Statics class and she kind of has crush on you and asked me to set you guys up"
I started fuming as soon David said that, I mean how could he, but I remained silent because I couldn't say anything
Keifer: " No bro, I am not interested"
I did a little happy dance in my mind as soon he said
David: " Just meet her once, she is great"
Sara: " Yeah I have seen her too she is pretty"
David : " Plus I already said that you will meet her tomorrow at lunch"
Keifer: " What, now why would you do that, cancel immediately and I am not going to meet"
David: "You are single only right, you should try going out with other, plus if you don't like her you can yourself say that to her tomorrow"
Everyone started nudging on meeting this girl and I was starting to get jealous but I couldn't say anything but thankfully they moved on to the next topic.
But I saw Keifer look at me in apologetic way but I just smiled because it wasn't his fault and after dinner we returned to our dorm.
I received text from Kiefer, " I am sorry"
I was confused why he was asking sorry, "Why?"
He replied, " Well, our first date was ruined and they tried to set me up with someone else"
I smiled at him, " It wasn't your fault and I am not mad you, maybe I am just mad that I couldn't call you mine in front of everyone"
He replied, " I am yours❤️"
I just blushed at his message
"I know😉"
He replied, " but seriously if you want to call me yours I am all okay with that😌"
I replied, "Well I want you to mine in secret for a while, I am not willing to share us with anyone else"
He replied, "Okay ma'am, but I didn't think you would this romantic person"
I replied, " What is that supposed to mean?"
He replied, "I didn't imagine you would be this romantic"
I was a little offended, " Excuse me, I am such a romantic girlfriend"
He replied, " Yes you are😘, well the kiss is still pending though"
That's when I remembered the slap
Jay: " Keif, Sorry about the slap, I panicked and I said that"
Keifer: " I'll forgive you if you give me kisses tomorrow whenever I am asking"
Jay: " ahn, this is not fair, what if someone saw us?"
Keifer: " I'll only ask when we are alone"
Jay: " But still"
Keifer: " you don't love me enough, you just slapped me but you are not going to give me kisses, it's okay"
Jay: "Okay Sorry baby I will give you, your kisses tomorrow" I love how he sulked
Keifer: " Love you babe😘"
We just talked and went to sleep like that without knowing the events waiting in line for us Tomorrow.
