Arlene's POV
"Charlie actually bought you a Hello Kitty private jet?" I ask Linton as we navigate through the busy construction site, stepping carefully around scattered tools and building materials.
"Absolutely," she beams, her whole face lighting up with pure joy. "The interior is incredible. Everything is plush pink and white, with Hello Kitty designs everywhere. I still can't wrap my head around the fact that he actually did it. I mentioned once that I hated waiting around for Kian's flight schedules, and Charlie just said, 'You're absolutely right. You shouldn't have to wait for anyone.'"
"He's completely spoiling you, and here I am still fighting with Warner about some random ex-girlfriend," I mutter, feeling a twinge of envy.
"You're still dealing with that mess?"
"He said sorry, but I had to explain to him exactly why he needed to apologize in the first place," I say, rolling my eyes at the memory.
