Having been away for so long, the Empire has accumulated quite a bit for Shen Tang to handle, destined to be a busy period once more.
She originally planned to retreat for a few days to properly deal with these affairs, but Xiao Jin clung to her fiercely all night, savoring every moment, never wanting to part from her!
If Shen Tang were to let him have his way, she wouldn't need to leave the bedroom palace! Rumors outside might spread that she is a debauched ruler reveling in nightly pleasures!
She had no choice but to send Xiao Jin out to work, only then did things quieten down around her.
From morning till dusk, the sky gradually grew dark.
Shen Tang leaned against her desk, stretched lazily, flexed her muscles, and saw a large platter of seasonal fresh fruits still sitting on the table.
She casually picked a fruit, which seemed like a Haitang Fruit, tasted it, sweet and sour, very delicious.
