Chapter 60 - Chapter 60 My mom asked me to go home for dinner. I won’t play today.

When Wapol saw the user with the ID "Plague Queen" place an order yesterday, he thought it was just some boring imitator.

It wasn't until just now, in the latest video Queen posted about preparing for a banquet, that he clearly saw the robot he had manufactured, placed in the corner of the screen!

"I'm going to be rich… I'm going to be rich!"

Wapol was overjoyed, jumping up excitedly, his bloated body knocking over the pile of scrap metal beside him with a tremendous crash.

Ignoring the snow flurries on his body, he tremblingly tapped open the comment section, using his oil-stained fingernails to type out one character at a time: "Respected Queen! The robot you ordered is indeed from my humble hands! Wapol's Mechanical Workshop, at your service!"

After sending this comment, he stared intently at the screen, even forgetting to breathe.

It wasn't until he saw his comment getting likes one by one, and even topping the hot comments a dozen minutes later, with the number of likes skyrocketing like crazy, that he finally took a deep breath, a sickly blush appearing on his dark face.

"Three thousand… three thousand followers!" He danced around in the snow, his worn-out boots kicking up a mist of snow.

Suddenly, he stopped, a shrewd glint in his small eyes, and his thick fingers quickly scrolled to the video where Queen announced the banquet, leaving a solemn message below it:

"For the Four Emperors' banquet live stream, Wapol will definitely arrive on time!"

After sending it, Wapol leaned back against a large tree behind him, relieved, and looked up at the falling snow, muttering, "This will be the best opportunity for me, Wapol, to become famous throughout the seas!"

He then turned and rushed into his small house deep within the garbage dump, frantically rummaging for various metal parts, stuffing them all into his mouth.

"I need to make more robots; if orders explode, I'll be rich…" he mumbled, biting a wrench and crunching it twice before swallowing it. "I want the entire sea to remember the name of me, Wapol! Ben Hema!"

The kerosene lamp in the small house flickered, illuminating his face, distorted by excitement.

Outside, the blizzard intensified, but Wapol was oblivious, his mind filled with the scene of being the center of attention at the banquet, occasionally letting out strange "whehehehe" laughs.

...

Night fell, and the grand banquet began!

The venue was brightly lit, and a huge bonfire blazed in the center, illuminating the entire Onigashima as if it were daytime.

Queen stood on the makeshift stage, his fat belly rising and falling with his breathing, his small eyes narrowed as he watched the constantly soaring viewership in the upper right corner of the live stream, which had already surpassed the 100,000 mark!

"Friends!" Queen suddenly roared, his spit splattering on the cameraman in the front row. "Don't be in a hurry to leave."

To liven up the atmosphere, Queen had spent a lot of time studying live streaming these past few days, and he was already quite familiar with some basic operations. "Watch closely! Ten million Belli lucky bag! Three! Two! One! Go!"

It started with a ten million Belli lucky bag! The live stream instantly exploded, with comments flooding in like a tide:

Beast Pirate Minion: "Queen is mighty!"

Jonathan: "Is this real? Pirates really are rich, humph! If I can't catch you, can't I at least snatch your lucky bag?!"

Blood Blade Pirate Captain Shirorick: "Queen, I need money!"

In a remote fishing village in the East Blue, a young fisherman named Frilank trembled as he tapped the screen, a hint of nervousness and anticipation on his face, his eyes fixed on his phone screen.

His life consisted of nothing but fishing day in and day out, and he was tired and somewhat bored of it.

Fortunately, with a phone, his monotonous life gained a touch of interest.

Plus, lucky bags were occasionally given out in the live stream, all real money, and he would try to snatch them a few times.

On the few occasions he succeeded, it was only around ten Belli, which was enough for a meal for a single man like him.

Tonight, he came to Four Emperors Kaido's live stream as promised, just waiting to snatch lucky bags; he couldn't care less about anything else.

Although participating was the main thing with lucky bags, what if he actually won?

This was ten million Belli!

He secretly prayed, his fingers rapidly sliding across the screen, a hint of tension in his eyes.

Suddenly, his phone screen burst into dazzling golden light, and a message popped up: "Congratulations! You have won the lucky bag and received 100,000 Belli!"

Frilank suddenly jumped up from the dilapidated wooden plank, his knee hitting the low boat railing, but he ignored the pain, his eyes wide, muttering to himself:

"Oh my goodness! My heavens! One hundred thousand Belli! This is equivalent to three months of my income from fishing!"

He was so excited he almost jumped, his face beaming with unconcealed elation, looking at the message on his phone, confirming it several times before daring to believe it was real.

He couldn't help but shout loudly, "I won! I won! Hahahahaha!"

The surrounding villagers heard his shouts and gathered around, curiously looking at the phone in his hand.

They all knew that Frilank had recently become obsessed with that square box called a phone, which also had an entertainment thing called TikTok, and they heard it was very fun; he would stay glued to his phone every night.

Although they were very interested in phones, phones were too expensive for them, costing ten thousand Belli. They thought it wasn't worth it, as they could buy some alcohol with that money instead.

But they would all mooch off Frilank's phone to watch, and they also knew about the lucky bag snatching event, but each time it was only one or two Belli, which wasn't very significant.

However, just now, seeing Frilank's excited look, it definitely wasn't as simple as one or two Belli!

"Frilank, did you really win?" a villager asked, a hint of envy in his eyes.

"Yes, yes! I won one hundred thousand Belli!" Frilank said excitedly, his face full of triumph.

He looked at the phone in his hand, his heart filled with gratitude. This small phone not only brought him fun but also brought him tangible income.

"What?!!! Ten… one hundred thousand Belli!!!" Another villager was stunned, simply not believing it.

"It's fake, right? How could there be one hundred thousand Belli?"

"Frilank, you wouldn't lie to us just to make us buy phones, would you?"

But then Frilank showed them his TikTok balance, and everyone was dumbfounded!

It was real!

There really was one hundred thousand Belli!

Holy cow!!!

Buy a phone!

"Um, I have something to do, I'm leaving first."

A villager rushed off, heading straight for the nearest phone store. He heard that they had received a large shipment two days ago, and the price seemed to have dropped by one Berry.

"My mom told me to go home for dinner; I'm not playing today."

"What a coincidence, my mom also told me to go home for dinner, Frilank, I'm leaving first."

"..."

Soon, the villagers who were mooching off his phone all left. Are you kidding? Hurry up and buy a phone to snatch lucky bags!

Frilank laughed heartily. Let them mooch off his phone all day; now that good luck had come, they couldn't catch up, could they?

He secretly decided that he would definitely work harder to snatch lucky bags in the future. As long as he had a phone, his life would definitely get better and better.
