Bryan's POV
I sat in the interrogation room in the police station with Alice next to me, while Detective Morrison set up her recorder. Our lawyer Robert Chen sat across from us looking alert despite the early morning hour.
"Thank you for coming in on short notice," Detective Morrison said sitting down. "I know this has been a difficult time for both of you."
"Just tell us what you found," I said, because I was tired of waiting for answers. "You said Isabella was planning something with someone else."
Detective Morrison pulled out a tablet and showed us screenshots of text messages between Isabella and an unknown number. I leaned forward to read them and felt my stomach drop.
*Unknown: Are you sure he'll take the bait?*
*Isabella: Positive. Bryan can't resist playing hero for his precious wife.*
*Unknown: And you're certain Sophia will do what we need?*
