Alice's POV
I sat in Victoria's guest room staring at my phone while Emma and Antonio napped in the portable cribs Victoria had set up, and I felt like my entire life was falling apart piece by piece.
The photos of Bryan and Isabella were everywhere, on every gossip site and business news outlet ,and they all had the same headline variations about the Hale marriage being in trouble.
"You need to eat something," Victoria said coming in with a tray of food I didn't want. "Alice you haven't eaten since you got here yesterday."
"I'm not hungry," I said, but Victoria set the tray down on the bed anyway.
"Then at least drink some water," Victoria insisted sitting next to me. "You're going to make yourself sick and that won't help anyone."
My phone rang and I saw it was the office calling, so I answered even though I didn't want to deal with work right now.
