Chapter 91 - [91] Shadows of Setback and Fresh Starts

Snape later sent a letter explaining his reasoning: the Obscurus might still be present in his body, affecting Vizette's control over the Soul Soothing Potion.

Vizette felt unusually down, and a sense of frustration welled up inside him.

He sat on a bench in the garden, holding a letter in his hand, gazing at the stream in the distance.

Vizette didn't know when it had started, but Luna had been sitting quietly next to him ever since.

She stayed with him, enjoying the breeze and listening to Thor and Diana playfully bickering and cooing.

She looked into the distance with him; the wind swept across the lawn but could not actually bend the grass.

She sat with him from afternoon until sunset, until the stars filled the night sky and the moon hung in the sky.

Vizette felt himself gradually calming down, and the depression and frustration in his heart dissipated considerably.

Luna raised her wrist and pointed the crystal bead at the sky, where the moon shyly peeked out with half its face.

"The moon rises tonight, and the sun will rise again tomorrow. They are like the phoenix's rebirth and regeneration, which are all natural things."

Vizette listened quietly to Luna's words, and upon seeing those light silver eyes, he suddenly smiled with relief.

He was like Cedric on the train, trapped in a maze;

He had trapped himself for a long time because of an incredibly simple question;

Fortunately, a kind of elf-like guide showed him the way.

"An ending may just mean... the beginning of a new life. The same goes for failure; it's all valuable experience. I've just had too much luck lately."

"Maybe I need to eat some Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans?" Luna's eyes crinkled. "Dad always tells me he'll taste vomit..."

"Of course, I remember there was a packet in the sugar jar!" Vizette nodded. "Hopefully, my luck won't be that bad… Vomit is fine, I can only tolerate the smell of snot."

"I'm so lucky, I always get to eat orange flavor," Luna said with a smile. "If it tastes good, I'll share it with you."

Vizette slowly stood up, looked at Luna who was tucking her hair behind her ear, and felt that everything was as before.

Setbacks are not a big deal; what matters is how you face them.

...

During his last Christmas holiday, Vizette focused on life.

The professors' gifts were all packed into suitcases and carefully stored away, to be unsealed on their return journey.

"The Shadow in the Fortress! The Wizard's Last Dance!" was so popular that it was even placed on the front shelf of Flourish and Blotts bookstores.

Xenophilius was extremely busy during the day, starting the printing press early in the morning to print the book again and again.

Vizette and Luna continued their travels around London using the Floo Network.

This trip was different from the previous ones; neither of them had any specific purpose in mind, and they simply wanted to enjoy the purest form of happiness.

They would take the Knight Bus to the farmers' market in the suburbs, sit on the peeling white paint of the wooden chairs, and enjoy the crispy toast and fresh cheese.

After finishing breakfast, they sat on a chair to digest, smelling the aroma of flowers and coffee outside the restaurant, observing the passersby, and trying to imagine what would happen next.

They would stroll along the banks of the Thames, counting how many spires and domes London had on the other side.

Or climb the hill next to the city and enjoy panoramic views of the cityscape...

Vizette felt that his body and mind had been well-rested, which seemed to be more effective than taking a soul-soothing drug.

If they compared him to a house still under construction, then the magical knowledge was the foundation and brickwork, while the details of daily life formed the windows.

With these windows, the moonlight could shine into the room...

Before they knew it, the day to return to school had arrived.

Vizette and Luna didn't say much goodbye; they just glanced at each other and felt they had said everything.

After saying goodbye to Luna, Vizette boarded the train again and returned to Hogwarts.

...

The Scottish Highlands were still covered in snow, and the gatekeeper, Filch, was shivering in a thick coat.

Leaning against the railing of the small platform, he shouted rudely at the students getting off the train: "Come over here! Follow me!"

Led by Filch, Vizette arrived at a wide dirt road through the woods, where rows of carriages were parked.

Vizette climbed into one of the carriages, and the carriage doors closed automatically, then slowly started moving again.

He used his Magic Eye to look ahead curiously, where there was a huge magic circuit. With the power of his intermediate Magic Eye, he could not see its specific composition.

With the intermediate level of magical vision, one could see creatures no larger than a wizard, but could only glimpse the vague magical circuits of large creatures.

As for what kind of magical circuits a wizard possessed, the current capabilities of the Eye of Magic were completely inaccessible.

When Vizette returned to his dormitory, he found it empty.

Judging from the messy arrangement of their desks, his roommates were probably making a final push, battling with the homework that had piled up over the entire holiday.

Sure enough, Vizette found a note on his desk with a request for help from his four roommates: Vizette, come to the library and help us check our homework!

He took Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick's notes with him and went to the bustling library.

Mrs. Pince was much stricter than usual, and would randomly expel a group of "lucky" students if the noise exceeded a certain level.

Anthony and his companions were very prescient; they hid in the corner furthest from Mrs. Pince, and would occasionally peek into the distance.

When they saw Vizette, they immediately showed joy and, taking advantage of Mrs. Pince's turn, stood up and waved frantically.

"Vizette! You're finally back!" Michael said in a low voice. "Quickly, take a look and see if there's anything we can optimize!"

Ravenclaws have high standards for their assignments. Completing the assignments was just the basics; what they really wanted was to get good feedback and strive for excellence.

Vizette quickly reviewed the four students' work and praised them, "Well done!"

"If you really want to improve, you can quote the original text from the book as the ending to elevate the theme."

"Let me think. In the twelfth cabinet of the Potions section, there is a book called 'Basic Potions Essays,' which has serious and concise sentences, in line with Professor Snape's style."

"In the sixth cabinet of the Spells section, there is a copy of 'Chawick's Magic Volume 1.' The summaries in it are quite interesting. You can refer to them and make some modifications."

"In the fifteenth shelf of the Transfiguration section, which I think is the sixth row, there's a book called 'From Silver Needles to Sharp Blades,' and the sentences in it are quite good..."

"You're amazing!" The four roommates whispered and gave Vizette a thumbs up.

They split up, trying to remain as quiet as possible to avoid being criticized by Mrs. Pince, and disappeared into the vast sea of books in the library.

"Vizette! Vizette!"

Two extremely faint sounds appeared.

Harry, Hermione, and Ron appeared before Vizette.

"Hmm?" Vizette glanced at Mrs. Pince and asked in a low voice, "Is there something you need?"
