Arc: "The Devil Finally Leaves Earth"
Scarlet King turned to Mo Sheng. His dark garments re-formed around him, weaving themselves back into existence, and he asked calmly:
"Are you leaving, Demon King?"
Mo Sheng nodded. A red gate opened behind him, and a demon stepped out. Scarlet King thought:
(Hah… a Shadow Demon—responsible for stealth, surveillance, and assassinations. In the Demon Dimensions there are twenty-two clans: Shadow, Seduction, Strength, Sand, Detonation, Blood, Pollution, Devouring, Disguise, Illusions, Bone, Frost, Fire, Poison, Spirits, Thunder, Puppets, Nightmares, Control, Laws, Theft… Each clan is supposed to have a Demonic Ancestor—though some haven't reached that level yet. And Mo Sheng… he doesn't seem to belong to any one of them… as if he's a hybrid carrying traces of all of them at once.)
The Shadow Demon addressed Mo Sheng:
"Demon King, you must return. An order has come from the Ancestor of the Sand Demons—your immediate return."
Mo Sheng turned to Scarlet King and gave a faint smile.
"We'll meet again in the future. It's destined. Our fates are intertwined, Scarlet King."
He stepped into the gate. Yao Yan followed—casting one last jealous look at Scarlet King before she left.
As for Yu Ru Meng…
She flashed in front of him in an instant, hugged him, and whispered into his ear:
"You're mine… when we meet again."
Then she smiled—cold and sharp.
"And now… I'm going to break Mo Sha Du's pride. Even though it's already shattered—let's grind what's left into ash. And don't forget… you're my fiancé. If any woman dares approach you, I'll make her live through hell."
Scarlet King replied with complete coldness:
"Do whatever you want. But don't try to block my path to my goal… or your fate will be death—like the rest of my enemies… or my potential enemies."
Yu Ru Meng laughed, turned, and left as well.
Only Scarlet King, Ikalat, and Lin Yuan remained.
Scarlet King started walking.
"Come, Lin Yuan. Ikalat. Let's leave Earth. There are important things waiting for us beyond this planet."
Lin Yuan asked, confused:
"Didn't you say you wanted to leave after six days?"
Scarlet King answered without expression:
"Yes. But the plan changed. The Ancestor's interference and Mo Sheng's departure mean we must raise our level quickly. So we leave Earth now—because that idiot Mo Sha Du will come back with support and try to kill me."
Lin Yuan asked again:
"Then… what level is that Demonic Ancestor?"
Ikalat answered:
"If you and I and Mo Sheng and Scarlet King—along with every cultivator in the six mortal dimensions—gathered together just to scratch a Demonic Ancestor, we still wouldn't even be able to touch him. He'd crush us effortlessly. To a Demonic Ancestor… a Great Emperor… a Sacred Beast… or a Ghirakhilah… killing us would be easier than crushing a speck of dust."
Lin Yuan swallowed hard.
Ikalat moved to Scarlet King's side, and the two shot straight into the sky.
Lin Yuan shouted:
"Hey—wait! Don't leave me!!"
He flew after them.
Earth shrank behind them. The world became stars and cosmic dust—then, within seconds, they tore free of the galaxy itself.
Lin Yuan spoke, stunned:
"This is the first time I've ever left Earth like this…"
Scarlet King didn't reply. He only stared forward… as if the destination had been carved into the bone of his mind.
Ikalat glanced at him.
"So where now? A sect? A market? Somewhere to rest?"
Before Scarlet King could answer, the System appeared.
System: "Detected multiple individuals carrying strong Qi energy—ranging from the Qi Gathering Realm to the Qi Refining Realm—near this location. Distance: 2.5 million light-years. Vicinity: the Andromeda Galaxy. Direction: ----->"
