After returning from class, Noel was approached by Dalton, who immediately ran towards him. The man hugged the Omega from behind, which surprised Noel, who was still daydreaming because he was still thinking about Alastair.
"Hey, why do you look so down? Is something bothering you?" Dalton asked, causing Noel to immediately turn to him.
"Nothing. I'm just thinking about something that's not very important right now."
Even though Dalton was used to getting that kind of answer, he seemed to know that his good friend was hiding something. And judging from his reaction, Dalton felt that he couldn't let Noel feel sad about something that might be related to the mysterious Alpha.
It was clear that he knew something about what Noel was thinking. It was just that he was pretending not to know anything.
