[Dragon Dance: The user performs an intense, mysterious, and powerful dance, greatly increasing its Attack and Speed.]
[Hypnosis: The user induces drowsiness through a subtle suggestion, putting the opponent into a deep sleep.]
[Protein: A special medicine capable of increasing a Pokémon's base Attack power.]
[Whirlpool: Traps the opponent in a raging vortex of water, making it difficult for them to escape within a short period of time.]
With just a thought, all the information regarding the lottery rewards appeared clearly before Theo's eyes.
This draw was exceptionally generous. The highlights were the advanced rewards—Dragon Dance and the Protein, both perfectly suited for Tyrunt, as though fate had prepared these gifts just for him.
Dragon Dance was a premier support move for Dragon-types, simultaneously boosting attack and speed, granting overwhelming advantage in battle—even Garchomp would be crying in the corner with envy!
Protein, on the other hand, was an exceptional nutritional item, ideal for close-combat Pokémon, further strengthening their raw power.
Naturally, both of these treasures were destined for baby Tyrunt.
The Whirlpool TM was perfectly suited for Feebas, giving it an additional offensive option.
As for Hypnosis, Theo recalled that Feebas should be able to inherit this move.
He planned to teach it later to see whether it could truly learn it.
The Intermediate Energy Orbs, meanwhile, were distributed to both Feebas and Tyrunt to help them rapidly build up the strength within their bodies.
"Feebas!"
"Tyrunt!"
"Next, I'm going to boost both of your abilities, get ready!"
As he affectionately rubbed the heads of his two little Pokémon, Theo spoke in a warm, coaxing tone.
Feebas was already familiar with this routine.
It widened its round little eyes with full anticipation, quietly waiting for its trainer's gift.
Tyrunt, however, was completely clueless.
The little dinosaur blinked curiously at Theo, trying to figure out what he meant.
"Alright, here we go!"
With a slight thought, the glowing Energy Orbs floated forward as if they had minds of their own.
They drifted precisely toward Feebas and Tyrunt, merging seamlessly into their bodies.
Feebas immediately narrowed its big, round eyes in bliss, gently tapping its tail against the tank wall.
A cool stream of energy slowly flowed through its body like water trickling through a creek.
Every inch of its scales tingled with the delightful sensation of its power quietly rising.
It felt so comfortable it nearly let out a soft whimper.
On the other side, Tyrunt stood completely stunned.
Its eyes were wide open as it froze in place for several seconds.
Then it suddenly rushed toward Theo, rubbing its head against his palm repeatedly.
Its eyes were sparkling—
It was unmistakable: it wanted more.
"As long as you listen to me and train properly, you'll get plenty more Energy Orbs in the future."
Theo laughed as he rubbed their heads.
Tyrunt immediately pressed its head against Theo's wrist again, while Feebas affectionately swayed its tail at Theo's fingertips above the water.
The two Pokémon were so clingy and adorable that Theo couldn't help but smile warmly.
After indulging them for a while, Theo focused his mind, transmitting the knowledge of Dragon Dance to Tyrunt and Whirlpool to Feebas.
Two streams of information sank in, and the two little ones instantly understood the moves, the complete usage methods imprinted clearly in their minds.
Both became excited—
One immediately lowered its body, preparing a charge,
While the other began gathering Water-type energy, looking eager to demonstrate the move on the spot.
But Theo quickly raised his hand to stop them.
"Not yet! This is the Pokémon Center's room, it's not suitable for using moves.
Wait until tomorrow, when we reach Petalburg Woods. Then you can show me properly!"
Once their emotions settled, Theo called out the Protein from the reward space with a simple thought.
A item that previously existed only within the game had been materialized into reality thanks to his system.
Its purpose was simple: to enhance a Pokémon's base Attack power.
For a close-combat Pokémon, this was nothing short of a top-tier treasure.
He opened the potion and brought it to Tyrunt's mouth.
Before the little guy could react, Theo directly poured the entire thing down.
Tyrunt gulped it down in one go, like a child devouring candy.
Immediately, its entire body trembled.
It froze for a moment, then its little claws curled inward slightly.
Its expression was a strange combination of enjoyment and discomfort.
A tingly numbness spread from its head all the way to the tip of its tail.
The subtle prickling of power awakening pulsed through every limb—
Odd, yet strangely addictive.
When the sensation faded, Tyrunt clearly felt that its body had grown stronger.
It instantly rubbed against Theo's chest, nudging him repeatedly like an excited child who had just received a beloved new toy.
As he caressed Tyrunt, Theo gently stroked Feebas's scales in the tank as well, soothing it softly:
"Don't worry.
Next time I draw something suitable for you, you'll be the first to use it."
Feebas blinked its little eyes and pressed itself against his fingers, showing it understood.
It wasn't petty at all.
It knew Theo cherished it deeply.
After enough cuddling with his two affectionate Pokémon, Theo made up his mind:
From now on, he would only draw from the advance-tier lottery.
Advance draws had a far better chance of producing physical enhancement items like the Protein—
Items that directly strengthened his Pokémon.
For training and development, they were simply too valuable to ignore.
As for how to quickly build up popularity through livestreams…
Theo finally had a clear direction.
He realized he couldn't keep streaming daily like before, repeating the same move training routines—
Such content was too monotonous and would never hold the audience's attention.
So, Theo decided to intentionally lengthen the intervals between livestreams.
This wasn't laziness—
It was time reserved for developing higher-quality content.
Only by doing so could he break away from the mundane routine of daily streams, preserve enough mystery, and make viewers eagerly anticipate every broadcast, rather than becoming bored from seeing him too often.
More importantly, aside from challenging gyms one by one, Theo had made another major decision:
He would sign up for the Pokémon Contest.
This type of competition was uniquely charming.
Unlike traditional battles focused solely on winning or losing, Contests prioritized a Pokémon's aesthetic appeal and the elegance of its move execution.
If Theo performed well, he could attract a large wave of new fans and rapidly increase his popularity.
Many trainers were passionate about Contests.
Not only could they showcase a Pokémon's innate charm, but also the dazzling beauty of coordinated move combinations.
Their audience base was in no way inferior to those who preferred battles.
As for which Pokémon he would enter—
It could only be Feebas.
True, Feebas was far from visually striking.
Compared to most Contest competitors, it was even… unremarkable.
But Theo had a different plan.
He would win not by appearance, but by skill combinations.
Thanks to the system's rewards, Feebas already had excellent mastery over its moves—more than enough to craft intricate and impressive routines.
And Feebas's plain, unassuming appearance would become the perfect canvas to highlight the brilliance of its moves.
Just like how a figure with stark contrast stands out more vividly in a dazzling crowd—
Or how blooming flowers look even more beautiful when framed by green leaves—
This contrast would make Feebas's skill displays overwhelmingly stunning, deeply imprinting themselves on the audience's memory.
Pokémon Contests were held regularly in designated cities, and Rustboro City happened to be one such location.
Theo checked the Contest information on his phone and learned that the next scheduled event would begin in one month.
The registration process was simple:
Before the event, participants only needed to visit the local Pokémon Center, fill out the application, and obtain the official Contest pass.
Theo had already decided what tomorrow's livestream would be about—
A perfect opportunity to respond to the viewers' speculation and expectations.

TN: Heys sorry for the long wait, just not really been reading here for while since life got pretty hectic lately with me losing internet for a week, our house getting rebuilt, then all Christmas celebrations, then my mother getting hospitalized, then looking after a house with a teenager who can't clean is pretty tiring, so haven't been reading for a while. I'll probably be posting in mass more rather than doing a daily update since I had to do it individually here and with how many I'm editing takes too long of my time. Hopefully things get better in January so I can go back to my groove of reading, editing and updating more of my novels here.
