"Writer, well, we all learn about it in grade school, and it's about as interesting as anything else in history, unless you're into that kind of thing I suppose. I can't promise I'm going to get all of this right, but I'll tell you what I remember. So, around 400 years ago, Aurelia received a broadcast on all frequencies, asking for someone in charge to respond on a private channel. The person who sent that broadcast was Writer. The government responded and over the next year or two, they worked with Writer to create our copy of The Book of Wisdom, the first book we learn in history class." Nivra paused briefly, "Are you tracking with me so far?"
"Sort of, we found that book with the radio and finished reading it, so I know what you're talking about." Xaiden replied. "This is not stuff we're taught in school, so I don't know where you've been going this whole time. I wish you'd tell me where you live."
"Not going to happen. Writer must have failed if you haven't learned about any of this in school." Nivra said thoughtfully.
"What do you mean, 'failed'?" Xaiden asked again.
"Writer wanted to end the war between our planets, I thought you said you read the book?" Nivra asked incredulously.
"Wait, you seriously think you're on a different planet than me?" Xaiden asked slowly.
"Uh, duh!" Nivra replied sarcastically. "Wait, you seriously don't?"
"Of course I don't. There are no other planets capable of supporting human life in this galaxy." Xaiden replied patiently. "Unless somehow this radio can cross galaxies or you're some sort of alien, then no, I do not believe you're on another planet at all. Maybe whatever cult you've been born into has deceived you, but you're on Zenith the same as me."
"So you read the book and just didn't believe it?" Nivra asked.
"Not a word of it. There's no proof and it doesn't make any sense. You read it and just took it at face value this whole time?"
"Umm.. at least from my perspective, there is proof. We received a broadcast back then, and now I'm receiving one again. You're strange enough too, I'd definitely believe you were from another planet." Nivra responded.
"This could all be settled if you told me where you live, I could come to you and you'd see, they've just been lying to you and keeping you hidden away from the rest of the world." Xaiden replied with a heavy sigh.
"Okay, you know what? Fine. I'll give you coordinates to a nearby location. Let's see if you can find me then. Let me know when you're ready for the coords." Nivra replied determinedly.
"Go ahead," Xaiden said as he grabbed the paper from earlier.
"48.8584° N, 2.2945° E[1], got it?" Nivra asked.
"Give me a second," Xaiden tapped his imprint and entered the coordinates into the maps. "Okay, got it. I can be there in an hour, does that work for you?"
"See you in an hour, Space Boy." Nivra replied mockingly.
"We'll see who's laughing when I show up and you have to confront reality for the first time in your life." Xaiden replied evenly.
"Let's meet back on the radio in 3 hours if we miss each other then. Maybe then you'll accept that you've been told a lie your whole life."
"Deal. See you soon, Nivra." Xaiden replied.
"Sure," Nivra responded skeptically. "Over and out."
[1] These coordinates should lead somewhere pretty cool on the planet earth, leave a comment if you know where!
