Max looked at Finn. He already understood he could turn this mode off whenever he wanted, and nodding at Finn, he cracked his neck. The world began to slow down once again.
*BOOM*
*Tut-tut-tut…*
As he throttled the bike, the front tire jumped into the air because Max gave it a huge throttle. Unlike Finn, his head didn't snap back. On the contrary, his reflexes kicked in, and he instantly shifted his weight forward, grounding the bike and leaving the dealership in under a second.
"Damn!!"
"That's how you ride it—"
Finn couldn't even catch Max's silhouette. He was gone too fast. Linn nodded his head but frowned a little. The way Max handled the bike looked weirdly good, almost impossibly good, not something a normal rider could do.
Maybe he rode from a young age or something… well, whatever.
