"Jay!" Eman waved like he was flagging a plane. "About time! We were about to send a search party."
Cin grinned, sipping punch like it was fine wine. "Keifer's late, huh? Classic him."
"I told him to be fashionably on time," I said, which apparently translated to "show up fifteen minutes late."
Keifer walked in right then, looking all calm and handsome - I mean the food..The whole table went quiet for two seconds before Mayo whistled and Josh yelled, "About time, Romeo!"
Keifer stopped in front of me and smiled that annoying smile which still made my heart melt . "You look good, Jay." He was wearing a suit that complemented my dress just like I asked.
I couldn't help but blush
Blaster threw his hands up dramatically. " I can smell the romance!" Everyone cracked up, including me.
After a while, the music slowed down. I was mid-sip of my punch when Keifer turned to me. "Wanna dance?"

And held out my hand

We started dancing—well, swaying awkwardly while the snakes turned into our audience. Edrix started fake-commentating like it was a sports match. Rory pretended to throw flowers. Even Josh, the quiet one, shouted, "Finally!" Everyone looked happy apart from yuri
Keifer shook his head, smiling. "They've lost it."
"They have always lost it " I said, grinning.
The night ended the way it always did with our group—laughing too much, dancing terribly, and taking blurry pictures .
