Leaving her on the kitchen floor, still drenched in his white gold, he pulled his pants up, grabbed his satchel, and left the house, saying he would return soon.
Meanwhile, Jessica lay on the floor and gave a weary, satisfied nod as she gasped for air.

"Ugh… I'm smelling like shit," he muttered, sniffing his armpit. 'Fucking my big-ass aunt always leaves me drenched in sweat,' he thought.

Daniel closed the main gate and climbed up to his room. Inside, the room was cleaned and the floor washed, as though someone had scrubbed it clean with real effort.
He dropped his satchel on the bed, changed out of his clothes into a towel, and headed out toward the well to take a bath.
Minutes later, refreshed, the scent of sandalwood clinging to his body, he returned to his room.
While he was bathing, what he didn't realise was that Esmeralda was peeking through a narrow gap in the window, watching him bathe naked, her eyes fixed on him.
