Chapter 14 - Ch:14 Next Prey??

Daniel picked up the plate, bowl and spoon from the floor, that she dropped when, he fucked her forbidden hole, raw.

*cough-cough*

Marnie's eyelids fluttered slowly, as she began to pull herself back from the haze.

"Mom, get up" he said with a neutral expression. "The dusk is about to set, dad will be here soon…"

She nodded slowly, eyes half-lidded.

Daniel opened his room door and headed straight for the kitchen, dropping the plate into the sink.

*Clatter…*

As he stepped back toward the front door, Jessica spotted him from her side of the fence gate.

She was looking down at their house and saw Daniel, about to reach for the main door handle.

"Hey, Daniel…" she called, her voice soft as always.

He stopped in his spot. Then turned his face towards the gate with an innocent looking expression.

"Hi Aunt… where are you going?"

She was wearing her usual cream-coloured gown, but today it was different. A sleeveless red surcoat, which hugged her curves and a woven basket dangling in her left arm.

A clear indication for shopping.

"I'm going to the market to buy some groceries" she said with a light tone. "Where is your mother?"

The moment Jessica asked about his mother, Daniel felt the dark thrill surge through him.

He forced his features into a mask of innocent concern, but the corners of his mouth twitched upward, betraying the demonic smirk he barely contained. One that ached to confess exactly what he'd done to her moments ago.

"Um… she is sleeping in her room, her health is not looking good" He lied, voice soft and innocent.

"What!" Jessica said with a sharp tone . "Let me see her…"

She reached for the iron gate, fingers already curling around the latch.

Daniel immediately interrupted her.

"Mom has just fallen asleep recently. It's better to let her sleep without any disturbance," he said in a caring tone.

"Oh… then okay, but is she taking her medicine?" she said, her brows furrowed.

He let the pause linger, eyes dropping briefly to the generous curve of her hips before flicking back up.

"We ran out of medicine."

A moment of silence stretched between them. Her weighing her worry, him savouring the sight of her tight, perfect ass.

"Are you free right now?" Jessica asked.

"Yes, why?"

"Come with me to the market. I'll buy some medicine for your mom and you can give it to her, when she wakes up"

And that's it.

He didn't hesitate, even for a second.

"Sure, Aunt Jessica."

Like the perfect nephew, he took the woven basket from her arm and fell into step beside her, polite and innocent.

"Status" he said, voice low.

————————

'Damn… she's a horny bitch aswell. I gotta make her my next personal milf.' he thought, lips curling inwardly.

The evening market pulsed with life.

Stalls crammed together, voices overlapping in thecrowd, people pushing through narrow paths, pick pockets blended into the crowd, unseen.

Daniel was empty handed, he didn't have anything to lose. However, Jessica was full in coins, and additionally every sway of her hips drew attention from the dregs lurking in the shadows.

Jessica knew the risks and danger. That's why she had asked him along as like her personal bodyguard. But she had no idea that, the so called saviour is a reaver under a lamb mask, patiently waiting for the perfect moment to attack.

"A kilo of chopped fish for six coppers"

"A kilo of fresh chicken for twelve coppers"

"A kilo of tender lamb meat for sixteen coppers"

Normally, one silver equals ten coppers, and ten silvers make one gold. Yet people often use the word copper instead of silver, for psychological reasons.

In the local market, prices spoken in coppers sound more appealing than those in silver, even though the value is the same.

It also subtly reflects a person's standard of living.

More importantly, using coppers helps avoid drawing unnecessary attention, especially from pickpockets.

"Daniel, let's go and buy some medicine first" she said gently.

"Good idea" he agreed with a neutral expression.

Jessica led the way through the bustling market, Daniel followed close behind, like a dutiful bodyguard.

His eyes scanned the crowd, ensuring no one could even catch a glimpse of the pouch hidden beneath her gown, especially not her attention seeking S-tier ass.

As they walked, Daniel explained the situation in a low voice. "My mom's been coughing badly these days, and her fever was climbing rapidly like a volcano."

Jessica listened intently, her expression softening with concern as she mentally noted the symptoms Marnie was suffering from.

At the medicine stall.

"Medicine for fever and cough please" she said to the counter.

"Yes" the shopkeeper replied.

A man looking like in his late forties, white hair, chubby build and a simple brown tunic. Stretched over his frame.

In mere seconds, he placed two small fist-sized bottles on the counter.

"How much?" Jessica asked.

"Total is twenty coppers" he said.

Jessica handed him two silver coins, and left the medicine shop. It was a simple wooden stall, its shelves lined with rows of colourful bottles.

Next, they headed to the vegetable stalls.

Jessica carefully selected the good quality products like green beans, carrots, potatoes, herbs until the woven basket was nearly overflowing.

Then came the meat section.

A chaotic sprawl teeming with people. The narrow paths were congested, making it a notorious hotspot for pickpockets.

As they entered the meat section. Daniel raised his guard instantly, eyes narrowed, one fixed on the subtle bulge of the pouch beneath her gown, the other drawn inescapably to the hypnotic sway of her flawless, S-tier ass.

Jessica leading the way while Daniel stayed glued to her back, the heavy woven basket balanced in his arms.

"Ahh" she murmured, reaching up to scratch her head with a faint frown.

No doubt some opportunistic thief had brushed too close, fingers questing for the pouch hidden beneath her gown. With Daniel standing protectively behind her, she stayed unaware of the pickpockets lurking nearby.

Jessica purchased the meat and escaped the congested meat section. It wasn't the people or crowd that made the area feel congested, but the narrow alleys themselves.

The basket was filled with good items, swinging heavily from his arm.

As they neared the wrought-iron gate of his home, she handed him the medicine into his hand.

Her fingers lingered just a moment longer than necessary.

"Thanks for helping your aunt, Daniel. Bye…" she said, her voice sweet and warm.

"Thanks to you Aunt, my mom will recover soon" he said with a purely innocent tone.

Jessica smiled, turned, and walked away, her long hair swaying with each step until she disappeared around the corner.

The moment she vanished from his sight, the innocent lamb mask shattered.

"Let's see how deep your desires are, aunt" He whispered under his breath, rolling the strand of her long hair, between his fingers like a treasured relic.
