Elira's hand felt soft and warm against Daniel like tender flesh yielding beneath his fingers, yet full of quiet strength.
Daniel gripped her soft hand firmly, trying to balance himself on one leg. He lowered his body, slow and steady, but his right leg buckled.
His leg, lacked strength to support his weight.
He gave up on the spot.
"C'mon, Daniel, you can do it. I believe in you" She said, her voice warm and gentle.
"Not today, ma'am" he replied, sitting on the plain grass with his legs crossed.
Elira gave him a soft smile before moving on to another student, leaving Daniel alone with his thoughts.
'Man… how can I pull a strand of her hair without looking suspicious? Think, Daniel, think!'
But nothing came to his mind.
"Everyone, now we are going to start the run now" She said firmly more like commanding.
Daniel pushed himself up and slipped off his wooden clog, as it's not suitable for running, while wearing it. As he straightened, his gaze fell on a plant, sprouting near his foot.
A wild green plant, its leaves bunched around a central stem lined with sharp thorns, like a rose plant. It also bore a tiny sour fruit which is inedible even when ripe. But their scent was sweet like lavender.
A natural perfume that spread through the air.
Immediately, an idea sparked in his mind.
He carefully plucked a couple of thorns and tucked them into his palm.
Then he walked toward's the grass field, where everyone was assembling for the run.
"Everyone, silence. Shh…" a male teacher barked, voice deep.
No one paid him much attention.
"Students, please settle down. Everybody will follow Sir Rand, okay?" Elira said with a sweet voice.
Everybody listened. Everybody nodded obediently.
The teachers positioned themselves in a diamond formation around the group, covering every angle. East, north, south were covered by male teachers while west was Elira's position, behind every student.
"Okay students" Rand called with a deep voice. "In three… two… one…"
They started at a slow jog, gradually building up momentum.
The rhythmic thud of footsteps filled the air.
*pad-shhk-pad-shhk-pad-shhk*
'Okay, let's see if this works or not,' Daniel thought in his mind. 'I hope it works.'
He stayed in the middle at first, keeping up the pace, but then deliberately he began to decrease his speed, letting others pull ahead until he became the very last person, trailing behind.
Directly Behind him was Elira, her expression was calm and steady. Her boobs bounced softly, making a fwump sound that sent heat straight to Daniel's groin.
His cock twitched hard against his pants, already fantasising in his mind, how those warm tender mellons would feel wrapped around his cock, when squeezing it tight.
He dropped the first thorn on the ground.
Elira didn't step on it.
One by one, he kept on dropping, hoping she would step on any one of them. But his hope faded with every step she took, unscathed.
'Fuck… it's not working' he muttered and flicked the last thorn to the ground.
Her bare foot landed right on it.
"Ouch" a soft voice exclaimed from behind.
Daniel slowed his pace and turned around.
Elira was staring down at her foot, balancing on one leg as she lifted the injured one. A thin splinter stuck out of her big toe.
Daniel stopped and approached her casually.
"What's wrong ma'am?" He said with a neutral expression.
"It's agh…"
Elira pulled the splinter and yanked it out with a flick of her wrist.
*whoosh*
A single drop of blood welled up from the tiny wound.
Daniel seized the moment and quickly pressed the hem of his T-shirt against her toe.
"Maam, you're bleeding" he said calmly.
"Ehmm"
From behind, a student called out. "Hey look, lady Elira stopped."
The group slowed to a halt, everyone freezing in place and turning to stare at Daniel and Elira.
"Is everything alright!" Rand said, his voice deep and concerned.
She nodded toward him, then gently lowered her foot on the ground.
Daniel retracted his t-shirt, folding it casually to hide the faint red stain.
"Come on Daniel, start walking, let's go…" She said encouraging him.
The two resumed jogging, seamlessly blending back into the group.
'Hehe…,' Daniel smirked in his mind.
After the physical activities was over, the students were given ten minutes as a break before the shaman's lectures resumed for the rest of the class.
Today, Elira taught them about, how elements can be fused together by the users will, to combine raw magical forces to create entirely new ones.
While Daniel endured the lectures, his heart and mind were screaming in joy and excitement, urging him to rush home, as quickly as possible.
…
Three hours later.
School finally ended.
Daniel ran out of the gates and hurried home as fast as he could.
'Shit, I really pulled it off, I really pulled it!! Yeaa!!.' He murmured under his breath, grinning as he ran.
*Creak-Clang*
He closed the gate shut and quickly ran towards the front door.
*thud-thud-thud-thud*
Inside his room.
Daniel tossed his satchel onto the bed, rummaged through the wardrobe for the hay doll, stuffed it into his pocket, and headed straight to the backyard.
Marnie was standing right on the kitchen door.
"Son…" She called with a soft tone. "How was your day?"
"It was great mom. What did you make for lunch?" He asked with a neutral expression.
"I was just about to decide what to make for today's lunch. Probably some vegetables curry" she said with a neutral smile.
Both talked briefly like any mother and son, until she stepped back into the kitchen to chop some vegetables for today's lunch.
Daniel glanced over his shoulder to confirm she was occupied, then hurried to the backyard.
Daniel quickly drew the ritual diagram in the dirt and turned around, double checking that Marnie was still inside the kitchen.
