Alex felt sad the next day, a trace of guilt gripped at him as watched Joyce, a mother of two children,one of which was missing while she did her best to deal with the death of one of her closest friends, and taking some time out of her busy mourning time to look after Alex.
"It's alright Aunty! No need for all this, mother told me you were going through some-"
"And that's no reason for me to not take care of my best friends son, Jonathan, you two go to school, I still have some unfinished business at the station." Joyce said sternly as she took her bag and left.
The house was a mess, with an even messier teen who was looking at me from over the table.
"She was a good person!" He said, making me break out of my trance
"What?"
"Your mother, she used to help mum out whenever we were in a pinch,we were thankful to her" he repeated, his eyes not meeting mine for some reason.
"Thanks, mom always had the habit of meddling in other people's business, most times it came to bite us back,haha!" I laughed,Jonathan smiled as well.
That's right, I woke up the next day with all the hazy memories of this body, it seems I was adopting or something.
" School?" I asked
" Yeah, let's go,I need to post these in the neighbourhood, two birds with one stone".
" I will help" I replied as we both left.

Mike,Lucas and Dustin parked their bikes in school parking
" We shouldn't have let him go?" Lucas scowled as he walked ahead of the two
" And that weirdo gf of Mike's is also a problem " he added
" Yeah, what do you want us to do, cause the last time I checked, I am the only one who believes in the supernatural, and did the two of you not see Eleven control the door and that guy even appeared out of nowhere!" Dustin added.
" Listen, Eleven told us that Will is somewhere inside the upside down, we just need to find a way to reach him!" Mike added, trying his best not to get angry at Lucas for being a dick.
The three quaraller all the way into the classroom, finally ending tye debate once Mike proposed finding the mystery guy they caught with Eleven's help.

Alex plastered the hundredth poster on their way to school, with Jonathan in tow as they reached their limits.
"Don't worry Jonathan, the kids probably gonna be found in a while" Alex looked at the exhausted Jonathan.
" I...I was supposed to look after him,but I didn't,it's all my fault..."
" You couldn't have known, and besides,mom told me the last kid that got lost was found within two days, it's the second day, we will get him" Alex added.
Jonathan gave a tired smile as the two proceeded to post the posters as they made their way to school
" So what's your interest?" Asked Jonathan, surprising Alex as he was the one who usually initiated the conversation.
"Me, I guess I don't really have a lot of hobbies, I like to play games a lot, aside from that,I guess I also like to do some martial arts"
" Really! With your look, you look more like one of the jocks!" Jonathan was pleasantly surprised
" Ha? Is that so, who told me to be so handsome" Alex felt his nose grow in response,Jonathan also laughed
" Yeah, you will see, Hawkins gonna have a blast with you" he added with a mischievous smile.
Alex also smiled, not saying more as they finally arrived at the school,Alex felt the 80s atmosphere and the fashion trend, and gave a sigh.
He felt the gaze of countless girls and boys on him, checking him out, before he could even notice,Jonathan was nowhere to be seen
'he really just left me like that, the guy really is like his first season version.' Alex mused.
He met up with the principal, had some small talk about his transfer papers and was then left on his own.
With his schedule in hand, he finally arrived at his first class of the day.
'Alright Alex! It's time for that highschool scene where you awe the girls and make the boys jealous, your high school life is about to start,Alex smiled to himself as he opened the door and entered.
As soon as he did, he was met with silence ,which was broken by the teacher asking him to sit in his seat.
"...."
'Where's my cool enterance' Alex grumbled as he sat in the protagonists seat.
"Hi!"
"Hmm"
Alex who was busy taking notes suddenly caught someone talking to him, it is as the girl in the seat next to him.
"Are you from outside of Hawkins?" She asked.
"Umm,yeah, I recently moved into my parents house after they uh..."
"Oh, sorry"
"It's alright, no need to be so stiff about it" he replied, easing the girls worries.
Alex also took his time looking at her, he had seen this girl before.
"What's you name?" She asked
"Alex, Alex Walker,yours?" He asked
"Nancy Wheeler, nice meeting you!"
The two soon became quiet as Nancy started focusing on her lecture while Alex took a few more glances her way.
"She is cute...but her mom's the real deal!"
