Chapter 59
Inside the Tsukuyomi space, Naruto paced back and forth for a long time before suddenly slapping his forehead: "I get it now!"
"Damn those fucking Root idiots! Damn Danzō!"
"They actually tried to pass off a fake Little Sakyo to you, but you saw right through it."
"So what exactly was Danzō's full plan?"
Uchiha Itachi looked at Naruto speechlessly.
The way Naruto was acting… wasn't he basically just a street thug?
But… at least like father, like son. Naruto wasn't a coward.
That alone should be enough to guarantee Uchiha Sakyo's safety.
Seeing Naruto ask, Uchiha Itachi shared his own guess: "Most likely, Root wants to control Little Sakyo, then force her to awaken the Mangekyō."
"In the end, you would be controlled by Little Sakyo's Mangekyō."
"That way, both you and Little Sakyo become Danzō's weapons."
Naruto sucked in a cold breath after hearing this. He kept cursing Danzō nonstop—and it was always the same few words.
Finally, Naruto spoke: "Danzō's dreaming if he thinks that! A mere Mangekyō Sharingan can control me?"
"Uh…"
After saying that, Naruto glanced at Uchiha Itachi.
Sure enough, he saw a hint of anger in Itachi's gaze.
Of course—even someone like Uchiha Itachi took great pride in the Sharingan's power. He viewed it as the clan's pride and wouldn't tolerate anyone speaking ill of it.
Naruto grinned cheekily at Itachi: "Big bro, sorry, my bad—I misspoke."

Uchiha Itachi: "You… what did you just call me?"
Naruto: "Come on, don't be so formal. We're basically family eventually, right?"

In reality, after Naruto appeared, Sakyo followed right behind.
The moment she saw Uchiha Itachi, Sakyo froze for a second. Then she drew a kunai and charged at him—pure aggression, no words needed.
But… Naruto stopped her.
Naruto wrapped his arms around Sakyo's slim waist, ignoring her struggles and Uchiha Itachi's murderous glare, and said:
"Whoa, Little Sakyo, what are you doing?"
"You've got the Mangekyō Sharingan now—you should use genjutsu! Don't just rush in like a hot-headed idiot with a kunai. That won't kill anyone."
After calming down a bit, Sakyo directly activated her Mangekyō Sharingan and locked eyes with Uchiha Itachi.
Naruto let go of Sakyo and, in his usual laid-back tone, said to Itachi:
"So you're Uchiha Itachi, huh? Huhhh??"
"You're pretty damn cocky, aren't you???!!!"
Uchiha Itachi, Tenraku Kumo, Uchiha Sakyo, and all the Root members: "???"
Where the hell did Naruto learn to talk like this? It was… eye-opening, to say the least.
Sakyo gave Naruto a surprised glance, then ignored everything else and tried to cast genjutsu on Uchiha Itachi.
Naruto quickly said to Sakyo: "Little Sakyo, no—genjutsu can't kill people. Use Amaterasu instead. Do you know how to use Amaterasu?"
Uchiha Itachi sighed. As expected, Naruto hadn't stopped Sakyo from awakening the Mangekyō.
In that case, with Sakyo activating her Mangekyō right in front of Uchiha Itachi, Itachi naturally couldn't follow their normal agreement.
But Itachi had always been quick on his feet. He narrowed his eyes, killing intent radiating, and said to Sakyo:
"Where did your Sharingan come from?"
