Chapter 152: Attacking Stark Tower

"Have you found anyone suspicious?" Peter jumped next to Silas and asked.

Silas shook his head. "Not yet. The Black Shadow Corps hasn't found anything either."

"Will Teacher Klein really show up here? I haven't seen him at all," Peter sighed. Peter had circled the vicinity of the tower several times but hadn't found Klein.

"How is Stark doing?" Silas asked.

Peter replied, "Mr. Stark said he would handle it and told me not to worry."

"Mhm." Silas wasn't surprised by this. That was Stark's personality; if he didn't say that, he wouldn't be Stark.

The two brothers waited on the rooftop of a building next to Stark Tower. Peter stared intently, afraid of missing any suspicious person. Silas, Peter Parker's brother, lay relaxed on a chair, with a Black Shadow Corps member fanning him.

It was almost six o'clock now, and the sun was about to set, yet Klein was still nowhere to be found. This led Silas to suspect that the whole thing was a deception. It wasn't Klein deceiving them, but the mysterious organization behind Klein deliberately using this information to grab their attention. But what was their goal?

"Silas, were we tricked?" Peter stretched, pulling his mask halfway down to expose his mouth and nose for a breath of air.

Silas stood up with a swift movement, grabbed a cold drink from the Black Shadow Corps member, and offered it to Peter. "Want a sip?"

"Thanks, my brother." Peter's eyes lit up at the sight of the cold drink. After crouching all afternoon, he was dying of thirst.

"Let's go back," Silas suggested. He increasingly felt that this was a trap. Besides, even if they left, the Black Shadow Corps would still be guarding the area. Frankly, Silas never intended to come in the first place, preferring to let the Black Shadow Corps handle it. If Peter hadn't insisted on dragging him along, he would probably still be lying at home playing games.

"Let's watch a little longer. You can go back first if you want, Silas," Peter said after taking a drink.

"Forget it." Silas rolled his eyes in exasperation. "I'll keep you company a little longer."

"I knew you'd stay." Peter looked triumphant. Based on his understanding of Silas, how could Silas bear to abandon his brother?

"Ugh~ Fine, you keep watching, I'll sleep." Silas lay down, and the Black Shadow Corps member shielded him from the twilight glare.

Peter glanced at Silas, then at himself, and after a moment of silence, said, "Hmm... Spider Squad?"

The Spider Squad, clad in red, immediately appeared behind Peter, awaiting his command.

"Help me scout the nearby areas," Peter instructed.

The Spider Squad nodded and left.

About ten minutes later, Ring! Ring! Ring! Peter's phone rang in his pocket.

Peter quickly took out the phone and answered, "Hello, Aunt May."

"Mhm, Peter, are you with Silas?" Aunt May asked from the other end.

"Yes, why?" Peter asked curiously.

"When are you two coming home? It's already dinner time," Aunt May said.

"Right away," Peter said, glancing at the time displayed on his phone. He hadn't noticed until Aunt May mentioned it.

"Mhm." With that, Aunt May hung up the phone.

"Hey!" Peter jumped next to Silas, patted his shoulder, and said, "Silas, wake up, Aunt May is calling us home for dinner."

"Mhm." Silas hadn't actually been sleeping; he was just resting his eyes.

He opened a portal to the Shadow Realm leading to the alley closest to his home—an alley Silas had checked for any cameras installed by Stark.

Shortly after Peter and Silas left.

Near Stark Tower

"What exactly do you want?" A huge, grotesque insect roared. This insect was Klein, who turned into a monster at night.

"So you really can turn into a monster at night~" The voice came from behind Klein. There was a human silhouette hidden in the shadows where the light couldn't reach.

"I don't care what you plan to do," Klein turned around and said, "Don't challenge my bottom line."

"Bottom line?" The figure sneered. "Tell me, which is more important? Your bottom line? Or your mother's life?"

"Damn you~ You despicable and filthy trash," Klein growled venomously.

"It doesn't matter. No matter what you call me, you can't escape the reality that you're a monster."

"I can walk on the street at night. Can you? Monster?" The figure continuously mocked Klein, seemingly trying to provoke him.

"You~" Klein wanted to rush forward immediately and tear the person limb from limb, but he remembered his kidnapped mother and paused.

"Don't waste time. Go and complete your mission." The person said, and a series of footsteps followed, suggesting they had already left.

"Don't let me find an opportunity," Klein muttered, then looked up at the towering Stark Tower.

Klein was wearing a black suit, designed by the organization for him. They had researched Klein's body after threatening him with his mother and found that he still had fundamental weak points, including his waist and neck. The suit was designed to protect those vulnerable points. Of course, the suit didn't just protect those two areas; otherwise, it would be clearly telling people where his weakness was. However, this suit was both for protecting Klein and for monitoring him. The suit was equipped with miniature listening devices and cameras.

"I hope Peter and the others show up," Klein prayed in his heart. He deliberately left that video hoping Peter and Silas would come and stop him. That way, even if he failed, the organization wouldn't blame him.

Pulling down the large black hood on the suit, it completely covered Klein's head.

Klein walked towards Stark Tower. As soon as he reached the entrance, he was stopped by a guard. "Wait, please show your ID badge."

"I don't have one," Klein whispered in a hoarse voice.

"I apologize, we cannot let you in," the guard said, while secretly signaling his colleagues. He found the person whose face he couldn't see to be highly suspicious.

"Sorry, but I have to go inside." Klein suddenly looked up and pulled down his black hood, revealing his monstrous insect head.

"No!" The guard cried out in fear.

Bang!

He was then casually thrown by Klein against the nearby wall. Klein deliberately controlled his strength to prevent him from being fatally injured.

"Shoot!"

Bang! Bang! Bang! The other guards quickly drew their guns and fired without hesitation.

Unfortunately, the bullets had no effect on Klein. Klein revealed his forearms, which were as sharp as the scythe of the grim reaper, from his sleeves.

"I'm sorry!" Klein charged toward the guards like a ghost. His forearm slashed across a pistol as easily as a knife slicing through tofu, cutting the gun in half. Klein then kicked a guard away and rushed toward the elevator.

"No passage here!"
