"Wake up brother, wake up." a small annoying voice sounded out. A tiny looking figure pushed consistenly while shouting at a lump in a blanket. Meanwhile he dragged his blanket over his ears fiercely before finally giving up. "Arrghh, what is it debbie?" he barked. It was the younger figure of sixth, his hair thick and curly.
Deborah was of petite frame, clearly undergrown. She was just six but compared to her mates at that age she was smaller in stature, not the slightest blemish on her skin and fuller flesh on her bones making her look huggable if that was even a word. Her eyes were blue, her hair was black and wriggled. She knew how to make her eyes teary at any moment. If you asked her why, she would reply that it was her talent; teary tears, she called it.
Holding his face gently she whispered "I'm sorry ok, just wanted to show you something. Looking at her like that he couldn't help but soften. Of all his siblings, both of them were the closest. Not just that but she was the one who had their mother's features fully especially those asian eyes. "What is it?" he asked calmly. She brought her hands before him, thinking she wanted to be held he brought his own fingers forward only to drag them back sharply.
On the tip of his fingers were frost crumbs. He slowly looked towards his little sister, only to notice that she had a aqualine colored shard of frost forming between her fingers. He couldn't believe his eyes, he threw the blanket over while wiping his eyes slowly. "ice - type talent. " he muttered. "Isn't it beautiful?" she asked smiling widely, the luminous glow etched on her face. After observing her coldly for a while, He looked up watching his parents who were also observing him.
"You can go Debbie , I'll be down shortly." he held onto her shoulders, straightening the creases with a forced smile on his face. "okay." Deborah slowly retreated while watching her parents faces.
The door closed, with it brought a choking silence which lasted a while. "I'm really sorry, son. If i had a choice i wouldn't allow it." his mother spoke after a while, her arm outstretched to cradle his face.
He calmly dodged it while watching her. She was his mother, leah.
With her lush black and blue eyes, she looked like the mature version of Deborah but her mixed feature were more defined. She was of american & asian descent. She was clearly in her prime, people claimed that watching her reminded them of 'fresh flower blooming', "they should really come up with better names." he had once replied.
"Your grandfather knowing Leah had awakened a talent asked for her, he wanted to have the honor of training her." a low and deep voice came from behind. Stepping forward, This was the former scion of his family, the hero 'Sampson, Sampson Lionhearth the courageous'.
" your mom and I have an important mission comi.... " Sampon continued standing next to leah. They really looked good together especially with his styled back hair with a few strands left loose, both sides were white but clearly not from old age. His eyes were sharp, lashes were thick and his rectangular cut moustache. His face was more defined, his jaws pronounced. He had faint scar across his nose and his left eye. His body was so ripped that the lines were still etched over his clothes. V shaped torso and thick biceps. "... Mission coming up, so we won't be around for much longer plus the time spent is indefinite. We might not be back in a while." his smooth and deep voice ended.
"Was it you who told leah to show me?" Sixth calmly asked. Another bout of silence followed, a little longer than the last one. "We had a deal boy, it is not my fault you're weak." Sampson spat in fury. "Sampson!" Leah called out.
"it's not what he meant, baby. I'm sure he just acting out." Leah rushed to embrace little Sixth, trying to sooth him. His eyes cold and detached, Sixth broke free from her embrace. He stepped out from the blankets naked. Sampon frowned.
"All this words, just to abandon me. The courageous hero doesn't even have the face to say it straight." putting on an underwear, he turned to show his body which was full of scars. "Of course, we had a deal and I'll honor it old man. Y'all can leave."
Leah immediately began tearing up where she was while Sampson walked towards sixth, hands on his shoulder." Things may have not worked as we expected but i am proud of you. I'll always be proud of you, Seth. "
ALLEY PARKWAY (NJ) 2:49AM
The stars shone bright as the cool breeze picked up wind. In a habituated area of parkway, all windows shut closed to the terrifying screams of a kid. As much as they would have liked to help, this area rarely had talents amongst them. The were termed 'Human section'. Knowing there was nothing they could do, they all shut their windows why hiding in corners of their containment.
Brad and crew watched in horror as the artifact they were meant to hand over to their boss slowly shattered apart. "Even boss couldn't break it, why would it break now." Lights seeped from the cracks brightening the area. The torn apart corpse of Seth lay around as the light touched upon it revealing its gruesome sight.
All of a sudden, the item broke apart before flying over to Seth. Shards and splinters of the item invading his body. "did that thing just enter his body?" they all watched in shock as the corpse levitated in front of them. His fingers began twitching and from the holes in his body they saw the liquid seeping into his very bones. From the gaping hole in his heart area, they saw his heart reforming. Marble like orbs grew on his heart each with different colors.
One of them shone light liquid flame 🔥 (magma) while another gaseous with grey like smoke moving within the encirclement of the marble. The two marbles which attracted most attention was the white one with light golden radiance and and the vantan black colored one with tiny tints of purple, red, blue and pink.
"F*ck....." one of them swore before rushing towards Seth. Before he could come in contact, the dark night brightened briefly. A flash of lightning decimated him, quick and efficient. The others immediately froze in fear. Watching in horror as Seth's body reformed, his bone structure gleamed in the dark night scales, purple mist rising while golden engraving like casings appeared all over. Nerves of different colors grew on every flesh up to his very brain. His brain liquid color changed to a slight color of violet.
The winds picked up while the night stars disappeared covered by clouds making the night a tad bit darker. Lightning rumbled in the sky, the unusual activity caused people from all corners of New jersey to look up. "Lets get out of here." Brad called out to both of his team mates while taking a last look at Seth's floating body. The light from his body grew so bright that people few meters away could spot it even with the obstructions. Brad and his crew whooshed out of sight as the heat which accompanied the light grew exponentially. Few things around had already began melting causing a commotion. Most people had began running out to the streets.
Seth saw himself in a small sized colloseum. He examined the thick styled walls and pillars, from the view he saw outside he was sure that he was on a mountain â›° of high height. Looking around wondering how he got there, he saw a graceful figure of woman descending from a above. She had three pairs of wings and a golden ring with three pairs of golden glowing irises behind her. She was dressed on a flowing white garment and her face was veiled. She carried a boy of probably five. His head was full of thick short white hair and golden glowing irises. They seemed to have a glowing radiance around them as they descended beautifully. Behind them was a man of huge build, probably 2 ft or more. His eyes were like the darkest night and had tiny representations of the moon and stars in both eyes. His figure was so majestic and royal. He was cloaked in a robe of flowing darkness but his chest was left open where nine glowing orbs were glowing on his chest, looking eerily similar to the one in Seth's heart.
His long hair did little to cover the pairs of earrings as he turned towards the angelic duo on the side. "It's done, let go of the child before he comes." his mouth didn't move but his voices echoed around the colloseum. Space began warping as new figures appeared round the colloseum. One of them specifically appearing opposite the family of three. "hand the boy over, Mahahallel!" his voice cold.
His armor was made of liquid gold with intricate designs and no opening except his long hair. The liquid helmet like mask dissipated from his face revealing his blond features, his pupils were red and his facial hair including his beards were a weird mix of golden yellow. he was of the same height as Mahahallel with curved protrusions from his head. Wasting no time, Mahahallel faced him squarely. Long thick horns sprouted from his temple while the orbs on his chest each glowed brightly. A transparent purple phantom of a nine headed asian type dragon surrounded him taking up more than half of the space on the mountain. The other who suspened over head began flying away, few were still smashed away. The golden armoured figure summoned his own phantom; a golden figured dragon.
The clash between the two generated waves that caused cracks over the colloseum and mountains. Seth watched in awe as he had never seen anything light that before. Behind him, a wavy light blue portal appeared. The angel dropped the child as the remaining figures rushed towards him, trying to stop him from entering the portal. Turning her back to the kid and Seth from his view, the veil fluttered revealing her golden pupils which where staring lovingly at the kid and Seth. "go!" she muttered a command before flying to confront the remaining. The kid with his head low walked towards the portal. With Seth in front of the portal, he was obstructing the kid's way. The boy walked to him before raising his face looking directly at him. Seth was shocked, 'he can see me.' he thought to himself. Nobody had noticed his existence, even going as far as passing through his body but that was not what was most shocking. 'why the hell does he look like me?'
