In the Earth Alliance Forces' rear command center, Hope received the latest intelligence from the front lines. After reviewing the report, he issued an immediate order without hesitation.
"Launch!"
With those two words, two hundred Vanguard Fighters began taking off one after another. The massive formation of aircraft assembled in the air and advanced toward the front.
On the battlefield, Felix, engaged in combat, received a report from the rear command.
"Captain, according to our scouts stationed near the Earth Alliance base! The Earth Alliance has launched nearly two hundred Vanguard Fighters, heading directly toward your position."
"Dispatch half of the reserves to the northern defense line!" Felix ordered without hesitation upon receiving the information. The command center relayed Felix's decision to the troops.
Following the order, the prepared reserve units began their ascent. Fifty GINNs formed up and advanced forward.
On the front lines, Felix issued commands while maneuvering his GINN to evade attacks from enemy fighters. Raising the Heavy Assault Machine Gun, he fired rounds from the barrel.
One Vanguard Fighter was precisely hit during its evasive maneuver, instantly exploding and disintegrating mid-air.
The GINN holstered its weapon, dodged right to avoid incoming fire, then raised the Heavy Assault Machine Gun again, unleashing another burst of bullets.
A tracer round streaked across the sky toward a Vanguard Fighter.
"Damn it!" snarled the pilot.
It was too late to evade. Before he could complete his maneuver, the bullet pierced through his aircraft.
Boom!
A violent explosion erupted, consuming both the fighter and its pilot in flames.
Watching the fiery blast, Felix quickly manipulated the controls. The GINN responded instantly, performing an upward flip in the air to dodge bullets incoming from all directions.
During the flip, with the GINN inverted, Felix rapidly fired in multiple directions.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
A series of explosions lit up the surrounding air as several Vanguard Fighters were destroyed in mere moments.
As the GINN completed its flip and stabilized, the Guuru's tail thrusters engaged with afterburner, generating immense thrust. Within seconds, the GINN's speed surged dramatically.
It charged toward the Vanguard Fighters at breathtaking velocity.
The pilot of an approaching fighter stared in terror at the onrushing GINN, his hands frantically working the controls. The Vanguard Fighter's Machine Cannons blazed continuously as it twisted through the air, attempting to evade.
Tracking the fighter's trajectory on his screen, Felix formulated an attack strategy.
The GINN raised its Heavy Assault Machine Gun.
Seeing the weapon aimed at him, the Vanguard pilot mentally calculated Felix's likely attack pattern.
Both Felix and the pilot were predicting each other's moves, engaged in a psychological duel. But in this contest of wits, the pilot's predictions fell short against Felix's expertise.
The GINN's Heavy Assault Machine Gun fired.
The bullets traveled precisely in the direction Felix had anticipated.
The pilot of the Vanguard Fighter misjudged the attack and attempted to adjust, but it was too late. He could only watch as the bullet pierced through his fighter, feeling his body consumed by the explosion.
The Vanguard Fighter was destroyed.
Under Felix's control, the Guuru's thrusters adjusted their angle, allowing the GINN to pivot mid-air and evade to the left.
As the attacking fighter closed in, it intersected with Felix's GINN in the sky.
The GINN drew the Heavy Sword from its waist and executed a clean, decisive slash, instantly destroying the Vanguard Fighter.
After taking down the fighter, Felix maneuvered the GINN to quickly disengage. Just as he prepared to continue the assault, a massive volley of missiles suddenly appeared ahead.
"Enemy reinforcements!" Felix murmured, observing the incoming missiles.
As he readied the GINN to counterattack, a voice came through the comms.
"Captain, we're here!"
Hearing this, Felix allowed a slight smile to touch his lips.
The next moment, numerous missiles soared past his GINN from behind, intercepting the enemy's projectiles. The collision of missiles created a fiery explosion that stretched across the sky like a wall of flames.
"Captain, are we too late?"
"Not at all. Join the battle now," Felix replied with a calm smile.
No sooner had he spoken than Earth Alliance Forces' Vanguard Fighter squadrons emerged from behind the fiery barrier. Upon arrival, the remaining Vanguard Fighters in the airspace merged with the reinforcements. Simultaneously, the GINN units engaged with the Earth Alliance Forces converged with the supporting GINN Squad!
For a brief moment, the aerial combat ceased as the two forces faced off in the sky.
On the ground
"What the hell are those air force guys doing?" grumbled the gunner inside a Tank, staring up at the sky. The tank commander remained silent.
"Commander, should we open fire?" the gunner asked.
Just as the commander was about to issue the order, the fleeting standoff in the air vanished without a trace.
Both sides moved simultaneously, reigniting the fierce battle in the airspace.
"Damn! That was a perfect opportunity, but it was over too quickly. If only it had lasted longer," the gunner sighed in frustration, complaining about the difficulty of firing without radar guidance.
In the air
Felix piloted his GINN deeper into enemy territory, the Heavy Sword firmly gripped in its hand.
With a single slash, he destroyed another fighter.
After eliminating the target, the GINN executed evasive maneuvers, dodging attacks from behind. It spun around in mid-air and returned fire, precisely shooting down the pursuing Vanguard Fighter.
Noticing one of his subordinates in danger, Felix swiftly aimed the Heavy Assault Machine Gun and fired again.
The high-speed rounds struck the enemy fighter, saving his comrade. While doing so, he skillfully maneuvered the GINN into an aerial flip, avoiding incoming fire.
The thrust from Guuru's propulsion nozzles surged, propelling GINN forward in a sudden dash.
The Heavy Sword was gripped firmly in hand.
In a fleeting mid-air encounter, the Vanguard Fighter was instantly cleaved in two, its pilot already dead from the single strike. The two halves of the fighter plummeted toward the ground, exploding completely before impact.
Felix paid no attention to the exploding fighter. At this moment, he was maneuvering GINN through a continuous series of evasive actions, dodging attacks incoming from multiple directions.
