Ethan retired for the day and next morning RO2 appeared to take Ethan to meet the admin.
RO2: Just follow me,
RO2 went to the garden in front of the villa and held his hand at center of the garden a portal appeared. He asked Ethan to follow.
They soon come to a place which looked like modern day 21st century high end office. Outside you can see skyscrapers and cars moving. Just like modern day metropolitan view. Ethan noticed the office floor was large maybe in 2 acres or even more. With many proper cubicles and people working in the same. Multiple meeting rooms, coffee room, washrooms, breakrooms etc.
Ethan: Bro, is this where all systems work.
RO2: Yeah, it's nice right. That one over there is my cubicle.
RO2 Pointed. Ethan noticed a typical orange-brown cubicle, with desk, computer and chair.
Ethan: Its good, but it looks too earthly. I was thinking of something like Olympus, or you know, heavenly (chuckling). Aren't you guys some kind of demi-god.
RO2 just raised his hand slightly with palms open trying to say, it is what it is.
Ethan and RO2, having been so long with each other long, had a kinship and behaved like more close friends.
Over the years RO2 was highly impressed with Ethan and as a system he gets same number of points as the host. Points are very important to system. RO2 after seeing all the points to pamper Ethan calls him boss. Ethan knows that it's not clear how exactly system uses it or what benefit it offers.
RO2 took Ethan to cabin on side with frosted glass and swing doors on the floor. This was the one and only dedicated room in the office. Everyone was working on cubicle. On the side of the cabin a tag was there mentioning Admin office. No name, however.
Inside there was middle-aged man with few grey hairs looking to be in late 40s but seemed fit and good looking. He had light brown complexion and typical serious face and was wearing professional black suit with white shirt. He was browsing through his laptop and connected dual monitor in front of him on the large mahogany table and few files placed on side. It looked like typical CEO office.
He was looking at his monitor screen. As soon as he saw Ethan and RO2 in front of him, he looked very happy.
Admin: Ethan, I am really impressed by the work you did. You killed that anomaly (True vampire). I reward you with extra reward.
Ethan: Thanks admin, I must say impressive office Sir. It's nice to have a talk with you.
Ethan approached the table confidently and sat down looking directly at admin.
Admin: Unfortunately, it's not much heavenly as you thought.
Ethan was surprised.
Ethan: I had a few questions I wanted to ask.
Admin: Straight to the point, please ask
Ethan: Sir, as you know I have been assigned this particular world which I was told is a simple family drama. But even after 39 attempts and insane effort which even you seem to recognize things have not been resolved. I caught up, though the world has given me chance to live again and reshaped me. But this mission had been mentally challenging and with the recent emergence of vampire I am feeling this is an impossible endeavor.
Ethan did have a happy life in the mission world. Even amongst all those adversities. Since he knew everything due to regression cycles and lived successful life. But still defeating Edgar to complete the mission was very difficult he had suffered many loses from death of loved ones in mission world, humiliation and torture. This had led to psychological scars over the years. Plus, Edgars' cunning and resourcefulness were out of the world. Which everyone is clear had a hidden hand from behind.
Admin: Ethan, there has been a mistake in rating of this world. The world we gave you was level B difficulty. However we have now assessed, this was a unique Z level difficulty world.
RO2: Z level! I have never heard of it.
