Once we sat down, Grandma Agatha said, "You should leave for Nightfall Manor, Theo."
I was stunned. "What? But—" I stopped because of the young lady's presence. I looked at my granny, and she said, "She knows. She will guide you and help you." I had just started to feel safe here; how could I leave now?
After the conversation, I found Grandma Thalassa and asked about my mother. "Is Mom okay, Grandma?"
"She is okay now, Theo," she replied. She looked at me closely. "Do you realize that the eerie things happening around you have stopped?"
I nodded. "Yes."
"It's because Grandma Agatha is looking after you," she explained. Just then, Grandma Agatha entered the room.
"I would like to speak with Theo," Agatha said, handing me a box. "Don't open this until you reach the manor. I have kept you protected, but you have grown into a fine young man, Theo. You must figure this out yourself. I have only told you the story that was passed down to me, but you have to find the real one.
