Ok, I am late to upload this chapter since I am a lazy author, but let's do it since the doubts are piling up.
======
WORLD OVERVIEW
A single vast landmass called the Aris continent, so vast that it hasn't been explored in its entirety by normal folks of the world.
On Aris, magic governs reality. Races coexist under a fragile balance while demons from another realm continuously threaten existence. Power defines status, and strength shapes morality.
Over the vast continent, there are several floating islands created artificially either by strong individuals or factions.
One of those factions is the academy.
Tamasya and people on her level generally live on their personal floating islands.
The world isn't isolated. Several realms overlap the planet's existence; some of them are
-prison of gods
-abyss nodes
- The rest will be revealed eventually.
ABYSS NODES: Entry point to the Abyss—a place where demons reside; no one knows if it is artificial or naturally formed.
=======
RACES
1. Humans
2. Beastfolk
3. Elves
4. Dwarves
5. Vampires
6. Titans
7. Phoenixes
8. Dragons
- From 1 to 8, 1 has the highest population and 8 has the least. which equates to the amount of land they occupy, but since it is a fantasy world, don't expect more land to equate to more power to the race.
Humans are considered inferior.

ENERGY SYSTEM
Different types of energies exist in the universe. But on the Aris continent, three types of energies exist.
MANA— The most versatile and foundational energy of the world; most of the beings are born with mana.
SPIRITUAL ENERGY— another type of energy that exists; it's rare to awaken spiritual energy, so it is valued.
- It has more substance to it than mana, which allows the user to gain telekinesis, flight, and greater senses early on in cultivation.
- Spiritual energy has no variations or adaptability to elemental variations.
DEMONIC ENERGY: What mana is to the Aris continent, demonic energy is to the abyss.
- It has elemental variations.
- It is more destructive in nature for beings other than demons.
=====
TECHNIQUES & SPELLS
There are 3 types of techniques.
1. Cultivation techniques: help in cultivation of energy
2. Battle technique: Used with a weapon as a medium for mana to flow.
3. Spells: used with the energy itself as a medium.
>> 2 and 3 require comprehension to learn, spells are more technical and theoretical in nature and one has to study about mana a lot more than warriors. Hence, it boils down to choice of the person about which of the two to learn.
>> Most people start with both of them and then later focus on one of the professions, while some master both profession. It's a matter of choice how one wants to do it.
>> Most people generally choose a weapon since they are easier to practice early on when mana is limited in body, but that rule is not fixed.
>> there are specialised techniques and spells for every energy.
>> some techniques are more inclined towards one element but it's not like other elements can't be infused, the compatibility will be a hinderance to proper execution in that case.
AT THE END OF THE DAY, SPELLS AND TECHNIQUES ARE METHODS REFINED TO MANIPULATE MANA.
THEY ARE LIKE FOOD RECIPES; THE INGREDIENTS AND QUANTITIES CAN BE VARIED ACCORDING TO THE TASTE OF THE COOK.
=====
CULTIVATION SYSTEM
Mortal Stage: F → E → D → C → B → A → S → SS → SSS
[If a rank is denoted with, for example, F+, then it means the person is about to break through to the next rank.]
Divinity Stage: Ascension → Divine Spark → Divine Authority → Pseudo Divinity → Full Divinity
Godhood Stage: Pseudo Godhood → Lesser Godhood → True Godhood → Absolute Godhood
======
I think that's all for this chapter; the rest of the information will be gradually revealed with the story. I am not a very strong believer in spoiling the world-building, but some basic stuff had to be told to new readers and old ones too.
