Conviction
Your beliefs empower you, sometimes they may even give you abilities you never knew you had. That is a Conviction. Anyone can have a Conviction, but only some can truly harness its potential. Convictions can come from several different beliefs, and each one is different in one way or another.
Convictions channel the very belief of the user and as their beliefs become stronger, their Convictions follow with them. While no Convictions are the same, they still adhere to certain restrictions.
Convictions are decided based on three things.
Dedication
If one person has dedicated their life to education, they might gain a Conviction based on Knowledge, which might give them the ability to process information quicker and easier than others. On the other hand, if one has dedicated their life to sports, they might gain a Conviction based on Will or Strength, which might improve their physical capabilities.
Desire
A Conviction may also be determined by one's deepest desire. If a person has long wished to protect others, they might gain a Conviction based on Protection, which might give them the ability to enhance the emotional and physical defenses of a person. On the other hand, if one has always wished for freedom, they might gain a Conviction based on Liberation, which might make it easier for them to break out of the control of others.
Nature
A Conviction may also come from one's inherent traits. If a person is naturally drawn to leadership, they might gain a Conviction based on Authority, which might improve their ability to influence others. On the other hand, if one is naturally cautious, they might gain a Conviction based on Perception, which could enhance their awareness and reflexes beyond that of an ordinary person.
