Svarog raised its head and also looked toward the massive geomarrow vein.
A deep, steady male mechanical voice came from within it, "Calculating, based on average mining efficiency, this vein can sustain Belobog's energy supply for two hundred and thirty-one days, with a margin of error of plus or minus seven days."
After that, Svarog lowered its head, its red eyes looking at Clara.
"But you summoned me here not for these minerals. Speak your true thoughts, Clara."
Clara nodded. "…Yes. I wanted Mr. Svarog to see that many miners and drifters have been injured because of this… Can you help them?"
Svarog's voice carried not the slightest trace of warmth or emotion, "I have already stopped the conflict between both factions and temporarily brought the mining area under control. Evaluation result, within thirty days, barring unexpected variables, no large-scale armed clashes will occur."
"I understand what Mr. Svarog means," Clara said. "It's just… Clara feels that this alone isn't enough."
"The mining teams, and everyone from Wildfire, still don't understand Mr. Svarog's original intentions… If we could do a bit more for everyone…"
"My mission is to preserve the Underworld," Svarog said.
"The trust of a small number of samples is redundant in calculations. Human behavior always deviates from rational computation, Clara..."
Before it could finish speaking, Svarog suddenly raised its head and looked in one direction.
"High-energy reaction approaching rapidly detected."
Clara also followed its gaze in that direction.
Then, before the people arrived, their voices did.
Grizzly, Svarog, and Clara all heard a shout from a human youth, "Woohoo!"
Immediately after, several figures flew straight out from a mine tunnel entrance hundreds of meters above, leaping down.
The first to arrive was a dark green long spear. Its tip pointed downward as it plunged into the ground. Right after that, a dark figure descended from the sky, making a perfect superhero-style landing.
Following closely behind was an extremely familiar chainsaw, with three figures standing on top of it.
The chainsaw landed behind Dan Heng, slanted as it embedded itself into the ground. Stelle and March landed steadily on either side, the former holding a baseball bat, the latter slightly bent forward.
Last came Nero.
The white-haired youth grabbed the part of the chainsaw that belonged to a robot's arm and crouched steadily atop it.
These four gave off the strong impression of uninvited guests making their entrance.
Dan Heng stood up, quietly put away his spear, and didn't say a word.
March spoke up instead, "Ah! How did I just naturally end up striking poses with you guys?!"
Stelle didn't mind at all, resting the bat on her shoulder. "Isn't it pretty cool?"
"Exactly!" Nero jumped down from the chainsaw, crossed his arms, and glared at March in solidarity with Stelle.
"Come on, we're not chunni!" March spread her hands.
Teacher Dan Heng let out a silent sigh.
The Trailblazer squad's slightly abstract entrance directly stunned the two robots in the inner circle and Clara.
Clara blinked as she looked at the Trailblazer squad, feeling utterly confused, not yet reacting to what had just happened.
Even Svarog and Grizzly seemed to have their CPUs running a bit hot at the moment.
After that, Seele and Bronya hurried over from behind.
When they arrived and saw Svarog and Clara, Seele finally exited her quantum state, then casually tossed Bronya down from her shoulder.
Bronya quickly steadied herself. At this moment, she was just as bewildered as Clara.
March looked left and right toward Svarog's side, and finally her gaze stopped on Clara. She immediately said to her companions, "Look! There's a kid over there who looks a lot like Nero!"
Dan Heng remained silent.
Stelle said, "She looks more shy. Nero is way more lively."
March nodded in strong agreement. "True. Nero was so lively that the first time we met him, he flew over completely on fire."
Nero, meanwhile, honored his agreement with Old Yang. He took out his phone and snapped photos of Svarog and Grizzly, conveniently capturing Clara in them as well.
It seemed that only the Trailblazer squad was still maintaining a relatively relaxed mindset. Everyone else remained silent.
And that silence lasted for about a minute and thirty seconds.
Finally, Svarog spoke again, saying to Clara, "As I said, human behavior always deviates from rational computation. Clara, their appearance here is proof."
Clara subconsciously nodded.
The Trailblazer squad appearing here, and in this manner, was indeed quite unexpected.
At this moment, however, Seele stepped forward, put one hand on her hip, and shouted at Svarog unhappily, "Svarog! We haven't settled the score from last time yet!"
Svarog also looked at Seele. "Seele of Wildfire… your resistance is meaningless. The calculation results are very clear, remaining in the Underworld is the optimal survival strategy."
Seele let out a long breath, looking even more annoyed.
"Here we go again, calculation results, survival strategies. I don't have time to listen to your long-winded explanations. Pull your lackeys back right now, or don't blame me for not holding back!"
Seele's murderous demeanor seemed to scare Clara a little. The girl shrank back and hid slightly behind Svarog.
At this moment, Svarog spoke in an unexpectedly gentle voice, "You see, Clara. Even under extremely harsh survival conditions, humans cannot avoid division and conflict."
"But, Mr. Svarog…"
Clara, who was familiar with Svarog, already knew what Svarog was planning next. She still wanted to say something, trying to stop the fight from happening.
But Svarog interrupted her.
"Humans who attempt to overturn calculation results pose a major threat to the Underworld's survival strategy. Calculation complete. Conclusion confirmed, using force to make Wildfire and its accomplices submit is the most efficient solution."
Stelle looked at Svarog, then at Grizzly not far away. Her gaze swept across the mining area, where she also noticed many other robots hidden in the shadows.
"This one looks way stronger than ordinary robots," Stelle complained to her companions. "And his robots don't seem very friendly either."
As Svarog decided to fight, it had already prepared to leave with Clara.
Seeing this, March said, "Ah, what about that girl in red? The big robot is taking her away!"
As Svarog picked up Clara, it said, "Let's go, Clara. An external variable has appeared. Calculations restarting. The furnace core hub requires someone to stand guard."
Clara hesitated a little, but in the end still said to Grizzly beside her, "…Mills, please… don't hit too hard…"
Seele glanced at Grizzly, whom Clara had called Mills, and let out a cold laugh. "Heh, I'm tired of beating up small fry. Finally, some real tough meat, I'll play with you properly!"
