Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Fierce Battle as Doomsday Descends!

March 7th charged at the front and was about to reach the platform.

Behind her, Dan Heng suddenly sensed an aura and hurriedly shouted, "Wait, March!"

March 7th stopped in her tracks, turned back to look at Dan Heng, her face full of confusion.

Just as she was wondering why Dan Heng suddenly called her, a shockwave spread outward from outside the platform, and a Doomsday Beast made of piled-up bones burst up from beneath the platform.

The next moment, this giant beast rushed toward the train crew with an incomparably swift posture. The remains of this ancient beast raised its disaster-bringing right hand, splitting open the cosmic space and the protective shield erected by the Herta Space Station, carrying the pulsing rhythm of antimatter energy as it slammed toward March 7th.

Its attack was as fast as a raging storm. There was no time at all to react. When March 7th turned her head back, all she saw was a gigantic mountain rapidly zooming in before her eyes. Her vision was swallowed in pitch-black darkness; the mountain collapsed and pressed down toward her.

"March!"

Dan Heng and Himeko both cried out in alarm. The Cloud-Piercer Spear and suitcase were thrown out, but neither the spear tip nor the rotating saw managed to cause much effect on the Doomsday Beast, not even enough to make the disaster-bringing right hand pause for a moment.

March 7th panicked, but there was already no time to dodge. She instinctively closed her eyes.

Behind her, Stelle, who had been chasing from far behind, grit her teeth when she saw this scene. A sharp glint appeared in her eyes. The next second, a bat appeared in her hand, surging power rushing through her body as she charged forward.

But… she seemed to be a little too late.

Fortunately, someone was even faster.

A storm suddenly swept across the bridge. A blast of strong wind shot ahead at a shocking speed. Nero charged forward, holding the knife he had snatched from Arlan.

Surging power roared inside Nero's body. Ever since the game launched until now, his power had been steadily rising.

"March, dodge!"

Nero shouted, gathered his strength, and brought the blade down in a leaping strike, colliding with the Doomsday Beast's attack. The shockwave rolled outward like ocean waves.

Power surged, the storm raged, the force inside his body let out a wild roar. Nero was just about to flip the Doomsday Beast's right hand upward, but just as he exerted force, a crisp cracking sound entered his ears.

Nero looked toward the sound, and his pupils shrank sharply.

The knife he had snatched from Arlan, after accompanying Arlan in battle, then being used by Nero for his leaping strike, and now clashing directly against the Doomsday Beast, had long reached its limit.

In the next moment, the blade shattered on the spot. And with nothing blocking it, the Doomsday Beast's right hand continued its downward slam, but luckily, March 7th had already moved away.

Nero reacted quickly, pulling back like a gust of wind. He landed lightly, clothes neat and tidy, even tossing away the broken handle in his hand.

"March, are you okay?"

"Nero, are you okay?"

After confirming each other was unharmed, both of them showed a trace of relief.

But the Doomsday Beast, seeing its attack fail, let out a roar toward the group.

Antimatter energy surged inside its antimatter engine and flowed respectively into the disaster-bringing right hand and the dawn-bringing left hand.

Dan Heng summoned the Cloud-Piercer Spear again, his voice calm, "The Doomsday Beast is hard to deal with. We can only attack its main body after breaking the antimatter engine and those two claws."

"Give me some time. Once the railgun finishes charging, I can provide interference." Himeko said.

"I can handle the antimatter engine." Nero raised his hand and gave a light grasp, wind condensed into a sword within his palm.

"I'll take the right hand." Stelle said firmly. The bat in her hand pulsed with destructive energy.

"March, assist us. I'll take the left hand." Dan Heng nodded.

With just a few sentences, everyone confirmed their targets and moved swiftly into action, it didn't take long.

The Doomsday Beast was just preparing to act at this moment as well.

The gale surged. In the blink of an eye, Nero arrived before the antimatter engine. He raised his hand and brought the sword down, leaving behind a fierce, tearing sword mark.

Antimatter energy burst out from inside, and Nero dodged it.

March 7th lifted her hand, and Six-Phase Ice condensed around Dan Heng's body, forming a shield.

The Doomsday Beast's left hand smashed down, erupting with violent impact. Dan Heng agilely dodged the falling blow of the left hand, and because of March's shield, he wasn't affected by the shockwave in the slightest.

Immediately after, Dan Heng leaned forward, using the Cloud Knight spear techniques, leaving slash after slash on the dawn-bringing left hand.

Stelle widened her eyes, gripping her bat as she rushed forward with a howl. Facing the sweeping attack of the Doomsday Beast's right hand, her momentum was even more fearless than the beast itself, more like a believer of Destruction than the monster.

Seeing the disaster-bringing right hand getting closer, Stelle suddenly slid sideways in a dramatic slide-tackle motion, narrowly dodging the claw swipe. She even managed to sneak in a quick strike with her bat on the beast while she passed.

When Stelle got back on her feet and turned around, the Doomsday Beast was preparing to attack again with its right hand, but several little Pam ice crystals flew over. The Six-Phase Ice exploded into a cloud of icy mist and froze the disaster-bringing right hand instantly.

Stelle couldn't help curling her lips in a crooked grin. Bat in hand, she charged forward.

She stepped on the disaster-bringing right hand with one foot, and the bat in her hands surged with destructive force. She swung again and again, smashing the disaster-bringing right hand.

For a moment, both hands of the Doomsday Beast and its antimatter engine were all restrained.

This ancient beast corpse, bound by countless wailing souls and knowing only destruction, let out an enraged cry toward the sky. Surging energy gathered in its mouth, and just as it prepared to break free, a streak of crimson light flew in from the depths of space and blasted straight onto the Doomsday Beast's head.

Himeko's fully charged railgun silenced the Doomsday Beast instantly.

The massive head of the ancient beast swayed and finally collapsed downward.

Realizing this, Nero immediately retreated.

BOOM!

The Doomsday Beast's head finally crashed onto the platform of the Space Station. Though the impact was large, it didn't affect Stelle and Dan Heng.

After landing, Nero realized he had been surrounded by the antimatter engine. Antimatter energy churned inside, as if wanting to blast him into nothing.

Although its head had been dazed by the railgun, the Doomsday Beast and the entire antimatter legion, these pure soldiers of Destruction, these weapons of war, didn't possess much brainpower.

What drove them was the destructive desire packed into every crevice of their bodies.

So the antimatter engine still chased after Nero relentlessly.

Nero moved swiftly again, and the antimatter engine failed to trap him inside and burn him to ash.

Nero escaped, and instead, several more wind-forged sword marks appeared around the antimatter engine.

Sleeves filled with wind.

The sword marks created by the wind suddenly rampaged, tearing at the antimatter engine from all directions until they shredded the thing into cosmic dust.

Once the antimatter engine was destroyed, the power flowing to both of the beast's hands vanished instantly. Dan Heng and Stelle seized the opportunity, the former's spear tip shone like a rainbow and pierced through the dawn-bringing left hand, while the latter's bat shadows landed blow after blow, smashing the disaster-bringing right hand bit by bit.

The Doomsday Beast finally collapsed and could no longer rise.

"Haha! We won!" March 7th cheered loudly and ran forward.

Himeko quickly followed.

Having spent a lot of stamina, Stelle and Dan Heng both relaxed a little.

Nero, however, stretched lazily. Because he had been growing stronger nonstop, he even felt as if he had only just finished warming up.

But before the group could celebrate for long, a violent gale swept through.

The Doomsday Beast flapped its wings and soared into the air. It spread its massive wings before the platform, terrifying waves of energy rippling outward in rings.

One after another, imaginary-number rifts tore open the cosmic space, appearing behind the Doomsday Beast. Terrifying antimatter energy streams surged out from those rifts.

The dreadful energy pulsed within the rifts, and the Doomsday Beast before them hung in the air like a blazing sun descending from the heavens.

The next moment, streams of antimatter energy shot out from the imaginary-number rifts like laser beams, mercilessly sweeping toward the Herta Space Station, as if wanting to burn both the train crew and the entire station into cosmic dust.

No one expected the Doomsday Beast to unleash such a desperate counterattack before death. The moment the antimatter energy streams touched the Space Station, they instantly burned through the durable materials it was built from, without even leaving molecules behind.

And now, as the chaotic energy streams continued to erupt endlessly, they rapidly approached the train crew.
