Chapter 5 - The contest

I asked my dad what the contest would be but he told me it was like a practical exam we would fight in a taijustu match and show off our strongest jutsu that we have mastered the most and finally would be tested on Konoha history.Hearing this I already knew I could win in the history part having memorized all the the history already and knowing stuff most people didn't from my last life and it not really being something anyone really focused on or cared about learning anymore but I didn't know how strong Guy and Kakashi were and my strongest jutsu should be on par with Kakashi's right now.I sigh telling my dad I would win for him but I want their help.Hearing this they were puzzled knowing they had been helping me all this time but I shake my head telling them it might be strange but I want mom to use genjutsu on me as much as possible every day and not to go easy on my even use her C rank genjutsu especially that.I turn to my dad and ask him to take me to Might Dai when I train my kenjutsu knowing he's also very skilled in using a weapon and has the physical skills of an elite Jonin so he can pressure me more to improve.Finally I ask that every we alternate one day focusing on mom using genjutsu the next on my dad taking me to Dai and the third they'd leave me alone to train privately on my own.Hearing what I wanted they were surprised by it all with my dad knowing I need more pressure to improve my kenjutsu but thinking Dai was a normal genin and mom not seeing how using her best genjutsu on me would really help me improve much besides bettering my own genjutsu and more easily being prepared to fight against genjutsu with her being worried I'll get trauma.Most of all they didn't understand why I'd want to train privately believing I gained more with their help which was true but there were some things I knew they weren't allowed to teach me I could teach myself and other things they'd question how I learned.They agree to my request if it's what I really believe will help me and the next two days I train genjutsu and kenjutsu.On the third day when they drop me off in an empty training ground to train alone I go and find a river and begin practicing water walking which I can do for a few seconds already before needing to use the body flicker to get away and avoid falling in.My training continues like that for the next 2 weeks with me quickly mastering water walking.Finally when it's my turn to train alone again I start to do something I've been wanting to for a long time practicing the rasengun.The steps are simple and seeing how Naruto did it I know what to do I believe I could do it in my first couple of tries if I had a shadow clone but I don't know that jutsu but it doesn't matter that's why I did water walking first so I could manage it one handed.Sure Naruto did it after being able to water walk to but the difference is now that I could water walk I could use my sensory jutsu I been trying to all this time now actually being able to do it even if just barely my chakra control improves even further.Every moment I'm awake I use my sensory jutsu without anyone else knowing it's also why I'm comfortable practicing rasengun now that I know that no one is watching me and no one knows I'm using it besides me running out of stamina quicker from the loss of chakra.I found using it while I water walk also really helped to improve my control.It doesn't take long a few days of self practice and I master the rasengun my next step to improve it is nature transformation but I don't really know how to do that sure I know earth style but what I want for it is lightning style which I know I don't have a talent for without even learning.With my improved chakra control though I continue to think of how I use earth jutsu and change the earth chakra I use to a different chakra considering that the rasengun is more of a pure chakra I can sense the difference between it and my earth style and I eventually find the lighting style chakra in my body focusing it into the rasengun til I get a shocking ball.I believe that right now I could use the vanishing rasengun which means I'm close to achieving what I want to before I stop making my chakra in the rasengun spin now with my hand emitting a loud chirping sound like a thousand birds a smile forms on my face.I made chidori without hand signs by having better chakra control and directly being able to sense my lighting chakra in my body and channel it forcefully not that I know how the chakra moves in my body being able to sense it.This was an extremely dangerous experiment though but thankfully I managed to do it in a month and I believe I know the next step I need to use to push it to Raikiri or lightning blade.The next few couple of months whenever I practice chidori I forcefully channel my lighting chakra making it more and more easy to do so allowing me to channel more of it even though admittedly it uses more chakra it also impowers my chidori more.I try to get use to the Lighting chakra flowing through my body when using chidori begin to use it to amp myself like I do with my regular chakra making my chidori faster and faster as I gain experience doing it and sharper and sharper the more I'm able to force into my chidori.I also use my lighting chakra when using body flicker as a test making it even faster then before definitely making me dizzy and giving me tunnel vision but it's good to get use to this so for the next 10 months I keep manipulating my lighting chakra in my body getting more and more use to it allowing me to force as much as I can out at once when using chidori transformating it making it sharper and faster deadlier til finally I make Raikiri or the lightning blade jutsu.Im not done though this whole time I've been getting use to my body flicker more and more with the lightning chakra and I still can't but I can at least use it to get where I aim to as long as I stop channeling my chakra into it right after by using it in short bursts and I use it with my lighting blade targetting trees til I'm certain I can hit a target as long as its not faster then me which would won't be when I use both the lightning body flicker and lightning blade unless your the 2nd or 4th hokage or the Raikage.Now finally having mastered what I wanted to I go back to exercising and using my sensory jutsu while one water til I can improve my chakra control that way any further then I go back to using genjutsu on myself and improving my genjutsu.Finally the day of the contest comes and I see Kakashi and might Guy with Guy being extremely excited and Dai too looking at me knowing how good my kenjutsu is and wondering if I'm going be the top prodigy and what else I'm good at but most of all he sees I'm not wearing my weights today mainly because I had to practice the lightning body flicker and lightning blade without them on but no one else knows that.Dai whispers to Guy to take off his weights while looking at me knowing I'm going full out he wants Guy to as well before glancing at Kakashi wondering who is stronger between us.I noticed Sakumo staring at me too being able to tell I'm definitely strong as I noticed my dad's smug smile as he brags about me to everyone causing me to become a little embarrassed.I suddenly hear an annoying voice saying they'll win the contest and beat everyone else because they're gonna be hokage before I look in that direction to see Obito and Rin.I noticed Rin looking at me and Kakashi mainly me though being more toned and muscular then everyone else and also having dashing white hair and not having fish eyes.The hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi walks onto the stage telling everyone the winner of the contest shall receive a B rank jutsu of their choice as well as the opportunity to sign a summoning contract with one of the 3 sanin.Hearing this my eyes widen as Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru appear on stage next to Hiruzen this basically means they have a high chance to become the disciple of whoever's contract they sign.I look at Orochimaru wondering how you'd sign his contract because he's gonna leave and defect if a few years and he was only able to sign the snake's contract under special circumstances so I doubt he'd actually be able to let anyone sign it.I was scared to show him my talent now and I was scared of what was happening this isn't supposed to happen in cannon they much really be looking for talent willing to even have the sanin train them means that the 3rd ninja war must really be getting serious.The hokage then announced that the first part of the contest would be to show off our jutsu as he became calling name after name to come onto the stage to do so.I blinked as his words sank in I was hoping that part of the contest would be last actually with the lightning blade basically taking all my chakra just to use once with my reserves not being as big as the adult Kakashi's but bigger then the current Kakashi's by a good margin.I also felt bad for Guy hoping he could show his talent in taijustu before everyone judge him for not being able to use jutsu but I noticed they skipped his name thankfully must've been informed about his case before hand.The finally call Kakashi who jumps up onto the stage and used earth style earth wave to perfection a C rank jutsu scoring perfect marks.Seeing this I knew it was as mastered as my jutsu hidden in rock but more flashy even though I'd get the same score as him if I used it.Then the hokage called my name and I turned to face my parents with my dad looking nervous his legs practically shaking he wanted me to win more then I did staring daggers at Sakumo it was quite funny actually.I gave them a thumbs up and told them with a mischievous smile I'd show them what I mastered during self training before I used the body flicker to appear on the stage shocking the crowd.Hearing this my mom and Dad's mind went blank at my implication of mastering something on my own that they didn't teach me again wondering if I figured out some jutsu or made my own before throwing that idea away thinking it was impossible.I told the hokage I need a target for my jutsu and he nodded having a bale of hay appear on stage.Seeing this I scratched the back of my head with a smile and shook my head as I said,"I'll need a much stronger target."Hearing this he raised and eyebrow but seeing my serious face he thought if I was bluffing I'd just be embarrassing myself before Orochimaru but his thumb slamming it to the ground saying Triple Rashomon summoning making 3 giant gates appear with a smile on his face asking if it was enough.I smiled back at him as I said,"no" but it'll do.Hearing this the crowd started to laugh and my dad and mom turned red in embarrassment as they began to sweat thinking I should've just said yes because it surely had to be.The hokage went pale believing I was bluffing and also thinking Orochimaru went overboard as Jiraiya laughed telling me that was the spirit and Tsunade seemed like she was embarrassed for me as I smiled readying myself as I said,"don't blink" before I forced all the lighting chakra I could out making the lightning blade and using the enhanced body flicker to appear at the first gate as I slammed through it then again to appear at the 2nd as I slammed through it too then finally once last time as I appeared at the last gate slamming my hand into it for a moment before it blew open and I landed gracefully back on the stage nearly all out of chakra as everyone was quite with a shocked expression including the 3 sanin and the hokage with Orochimaru now red in embarrassment as I turned to him and smiled saying,"do better next time."My parents were pale white in shocked their jaws wide open before my dad yelled,"Suck it Sakumo" before my mom covered his mouth beating him.Kakashi's eyes were widen and Rin had a blush looking at me with awe and somewhere in the crowd a blonde man named Minato was stunned.Then the crowd erupted in cheers and claps a smile forming on the hokage's face before announcing me the winner of the first part with an S rank jutsu of my own creation.My dad was literally crying in happiness as he heard me declared the winner of the first part of the contest and as he heard S rank jutsu of my of creation shouting,"my son is a peerless prodigy all the money was worth it my precious ryo."In the next second my mom dragged him back into the crowd telling him to stop embarrassing us as the hokage looked at me and announced the rules for the next part of the contest have just been changed.Hearing this everyone went quite again as he announced that as the winner of the first round I would fight a taijustu match with the two strongest taijustu users of the next part of the contest to make things more fair.Hearing this I frowned thinking maybe I went overboard because now I'd have to fight a 2 vs 1 nearly out of chakra.The hokage then told me I could stay in stage with them not wanting me to be bombarded with questions and cheers about my jutsu as he began to call names to come up to the stage for a taijustu match.The matches pasted swiftly with none really being that interesting til Kakashi fought Guy but seeing Kakashi was gonna win and had the advantage despite Guys greater strength the hokage called the match early wanting them to save their strength for when they fought me.I got a short 10 minute break before the match started with Tsunade coming up and healing Kakashi and Guy and then acting like she was healing me even though I didn't even have a taijustu match yet as she whispered in my ear to ask me how my chakra was aware that my jutsu looked like it took at lot more then I should've had for my age and she thought it was a miracle I was still standing.I turned to her with a smile and told her I'm nearly empty but don't worry I've got enough in me left to fight before telling her,"when I win I'm gonna sign the snake contract of that creep but I want you to know if it comes to being someone discipline I want to be yours pretty lady or no one's at all."Hearing this she was just about to hit me as I got up and walked to the center of the stage cracking my neck and looking at her with a smile before telling the hokage let's get this started already old man your wasting my time I could be learning the B rank jutsu right now.Hearing this a vein appeared on his head as he muttered,"cocky brat" but had a smile.
