Chapter 21 - Game Headquarters.

A woman was sitting on a chair, her eyes fixed on the computer screen which was in front of her, she was leaning slightly back into her chair with a cup of coffee resting under her grip.

The room was vast and filled wall to wall with technology. Rows of computers and holographic screens covered the space, cables snaking across the floor and climbing the walls.

The lights inside the room were dim, letting the inside get filled with the neon waves of the computer screens.

"Hmm... everything inside the game is going smoothly. No bugs and nothing." She muttered under her breath.

Her eyes turned slightly to her left as she looked at her friend who was working on his computer.

"Josh, I heard that the American rankers are doing better now?" She asked, her voice was soft.

He didn't look at her, his fingers kept pressing the keys on the holographic keyboard. "Yes, American rankers are doing pretty well, but the thing is not about the country-wise players."

A small pause came inside his words as he stopped typing, raised his arms in the air as he flexed them, and a small yawn escaped through his mouth.

"There are many rankers who have made their own guilds, and some of them even contain the best players."

Before they could continue talking, a loud voice of siren started to fill inside of the room.

The lights turned red, and the air was filled with the loud voice of the siren.

"What? What's happening right now?" He muttered under his breath as he grabbed his headphones and put them on, leaned in slightly as he began typing on the keyboard once again.

"Mika, don't waste time, and you get back to work too." He said, without looking away from the screen.

Mika gulped as she got up from her computer and ran to the other side of the room. 'What's going on? I don't think that it's because of a malfunction.'

She reached the other side, the workers were panicking, and the sound of the clicking of the keys filled the chamber alongside the sound of the siren.

Mika went to the main computer, a huge screen on the wall that was reflecting all of the current actions that were getting performed inside the game. All of the quests were reflected in it.

"What the fuck???" One of the women who was working on the main screen shouted.

Mika rushed to her as she looked at the screen by herself, her skin turned pale as the sweat formed on her temple, and a small smirk crept up on the edges of her lips.

"Hey, guys... Am I hallucinating, or has someone actually awakened the first legendary class?" Her voice came out a bit shaky.

"You're not wrong."

A voice fell into her ears, and the workers who were working on the main screen turned to look in the direction from which the voice had just come in unison.

It was a man, nearly in his mid-forties, dressed in an all-black suit, his hair was properly combed, and his face had a calm expression on it.

He walked inside the room, his steps were slow, and his eyes were fixed on the screen.

"I also got the notice of the awakening of the first Legendary Class from the other branches." He muttered under his breath as his hand gripped the tie and fixed it slightly.

"Some new users actually awakened the class. His name... Ragnar was it?"

Everyone inside the room started to tense; no one dared to utter even a single word, but just stood in awe at the current situation.

"Didn't we make it difficult for the normal players... No, even the rankers to complete that trial?" Mika muttered under her breath as her sweat rolled down her cheek.

"Yes, manager. Mika is definitely right. We made the trial to work with the most painful memory of the person who's taking the trial to play with them." Another woman who was standing next to Mika said.

"You're right in that, Sera. But the thing is that it definitely got cleared, and the user Ragnar awakened that class." He said with a small smile on his lips.

"I think the game is about to get more interesting from here onwards." His voice came low, eyes were fixated on the text, which was reflecting "First Legendary Class User: Ragnar."

Leon's body froze, and a small bead of sweat formed on his forehead as he gulped.

'What the fuck?' Eyes were fixated on the figure who was standing on his left, looking at it with the side of his eyes.

"Are you going to keep lying there for the whole day?" The voice fell into his ears, deep, but the pinch of authority was buried inside of it.

The voice filled the chamber; the only sound in the chamber was the slow hum of the breeze of wind which was entering through the window, and the slow humming of Leon's ragged breaths.
