A few days had passed since then, and many things had changed.
First of all, Lucky had found a new home. Further into the forest, there was a huge cave system, so he decided to make his base there.
Second of all, he found out that blood really did satisfy his hunger. Although normal food still worked, his body somehow favoured blood a lot better. Not just that, the more blood he consumed the stronger his regeneration became.
Third of all, he had gone into the village at night and found that the people there weren't his kind. They were green, short like children, were baldheaded, and had pointy ears. The closest thing he could think of to describe them was a goblin.
And last of all, he managed to learn their spoken language in a single day. This was partly due to him sneaking into the village and hearing the goblins' chatter.
Today marked the fifth day since Lucky arrived to this planet.
Laying down on his makeshift bed of twigs and hay, he decided that it was the day he would steal a bed from the village.
'It's now morning, so I should probably sleep now,' he thought.
It was hard, but he was gradually changing his sleep schedule.
He reminisced of his meal a few moments ago, a whole bear.
The bear was a tough opponent, so tough that it had even gnawed off Lucky's left leg.
Fortunately, his powerful regeneration ability managed to regrow his left leg.
And so, Lucky slept till dusk.

Waking up with a headache, he stretched his body and sprang up energetically.
His destination, the goblin village.
After the sun had set, he began walking leisurely towards the village.
He had already know the combat strength of the goblins. Most of them were normal villagers, and only a small bunch were trained in combat.
Since he was a vampire, his biological strength was a great leap higher than even the combat-trained goblins.
If this was an RPG, this village would be considered a beginner village, where the player could hone their basic skills and get basic quests.
Just like his name, he was lucky to be dropped into a beginner village.
Night in the village was quiet. Since it was probably medieval times, there weren't much to do at night.
Thus, the villagers were all mostly inside.
After sneaking around in the shadows, Lucky arrived at his destination. The village chief's house.
It was a big house, probably around 4 or 5 times bigger than other houses in the village.
He had already visited this place before.
Entering the house through a second-floor window sneakily, he entered a partially empty bedroom.
The room had everything a good bedroom would. Pillows, bedding, blankets, chairs, and many more.
But that was a few days ago.
He had already stolen all the wooden furnitures yesterday.
Now, only the softer objects remained such as the pillows and the bed itself, among many other things.
Though it took a few round trips yesterday, today he decided to make it into a single trip.
'I'll drink the cows' blood again on my way back.'
Suddenly, his acute sense of hearing picked up on a far away noise.
'A whimper?'
Ignoring the noise, he began wrapping all the objects he was stealing with a huge blanket he found in the room.
He had to stay lowkey.
'No need to attract unnecessary trouble by investigating.'
Even if he had the power to obliterate this village in a single day, he didn't want to create any big ruckus.
The goblin villagers were civilized and weren't savages like the goblins in video games.
Even if he was a psychopath who wanted to kill them all for his amusement, it was still too risky.
After all, the goblins were civilized. This meant that there were other villages, towns, and probably cities of stronger goblins.
Maybe there was even a goblin kingdom and this village was part of it.
If this village were to disappear from their map, wouldn't they send more and more of their people to investigate?
'Still.... it wouldn't hurt just to take a peek, right?'
As they say, curiosity killed the cat. But he was no cat, he was a vampire who was pretty much immortal as long as he drank blood.
****
After dropping off all of his loot into his cave and drinking a few cows' blood, he went back to the goblin chief's house.
Entering through the same second-floor bedroom, he sneakily headed down the hallways.
*SNORE*
*SNORE*
He could hear the loud snoring from multiple rooms, probably from the goblin chief and his family.
Heading downstairs, he could hear the whimpering getting closer.
Walking sneakily a bit more, he found the source of the whimpers.
'A basement?'
There was a door towards the basement of the house that was slightly opened.
'Is it a hurt wild animal or pet? Hmm, then maybe I can get some more food,' he hungrily thought.
Even if the animal had barely any blood, he could still eat them normally by cooking them like a human would.
He had passed a kitchen as well, so he could steal some seasonings, herbs, and vegetables.
On top of that, there were pans and other cooking utensils and cutlery in the kitchen.
'I can't wait to try actual food.'
Even though blood tasted sweet to him, it was still not proper food in his mind.
He thought of blood as a drink. If he only drank blood, his hunger would be satisfied, but his foodie self wouldn't.
When he entered the basement, he could smell dried blood and an awful rotten stench.
'An elf?! No, three elves?!'
He found 3 elves in a cage.
They were emaciated and were missing their limbs.
'By the looks of it, they're all female.'
All sorts of negative thoughts plagued his mind.
Were they sex slaves?
Were they tortured just for fun?
Were goblins actually savages?
Or was it only the goblin chief's sick hobbies?
He had many questions, but no answers.
Thus, knowing that the goblins couldn't hear anything this far down in the house, he struck a conversation.
In perfect goblin tongue, he spoke to them.
"Hello?"
