Chapter 65 - Stormterror Attacks!

The Skyward Harp Awakens!

One moment, the sky was clear.

The next—it was swallowed by darkness.

Tornadoes formed around Mondstadt, spiraling between heaven and earth.

The waters of Cider Lake rose into the sky like towering pillars.

Residents screamed, fleeing into homes and taverns for cover.

"Stormterror!!" Amber shouted.

She launched a signal flare; instantly, the Knights of Favonius mobilized to hold the dragon outside the city walls.

If Stormterror broke through, the devastation would be unimaginable.

Fischl tightened her grip on Oz.

"No more games. Oz—we advance. Attract its attention. Now is the moment for you to prove your loyalty."

Oz wanted to cry.

One minute ago she threatened me, now I have to fight a dragon?!

Fortunately, he held the Skyward Harp Luo Li had gifted him—its divine aura might protect him.

Oz allowed Fischl's consciousness to merge with his own and took flight.

"I'm coming too!" Lumine spread the Wind Glider Amber had just given her.

Amber froze.

Why is everyone so bold today?!

Above Mondstadt

As Fischl neared Stormterror, turbulent wind currents forced her back. She commanded Oz:

"Shoot!"

Oz released razor-like arcs of lightning.

They barely scratched Stormterror's scales, but the pain was enough to earn its attention.

The dragon roared, sending shockwaves that almost threw Oz out of the sky—

until Lumine cut through the wind wall with her glowing blade.

Without hesitation, she darted forward and slashed Stormterror across the back.

Instead of retaliating savagely, the dragon recoiled… almost mournfully.

Its cries echoed with sorrow, not rage.

That was when Lumine noticed it—

A dark, corrupted tumor embedded in Stormterror's neck.

When her blade struck it, the dragon screamed in agony, its eyes bleeding red.

It lost all restraint and unleashed a fatal blast directly at Oz.

"Miss Fischl—brace yourself!!" Oz cried, trying to escape.

But Stormterror's breath attack built rapidly—

and this time, the raven could not outrun it.

The blast detonated—

Only for a shimmering light to bloom from Oz's chest.

The Skyward Harp manifested, radiating divine warmth that parted the storm.

Stormterror froze mid-attack, eyes flickering between madness and clarity.

It recognized the Harp.

With a mournful wail, the great dragon withdrew its wings, ignoring Lumine's assault.

It cast one final lingering gaze toward Mondstadt—

Then fled into the clouds.

The storm dissipated instantly.

Fischl and Oz drifted downward with Lumine, landing back in Windrise Plaza.

Amber ran up in relief.

"You're all safe—thank the Archons. I need to report this immediately."

A voice replied from the cathedral's shadow:

"No need. Acting Grand Master Jean already knows. I'm here to escort you."

A tall man stepped forward—tan skin, long coat, and an eyepatch.

"K—Kaeya?!" Amber waved excitedly.
