After spotting demon and mentally cursing him, she rushed towards her katana and grabbed it in a blink of an eye. She was standing now in defensive position, preparing for any incoming attack.
"What are you doing here?" She asked annoyed. "How do you know where i was?"
Staring him like she would rip him apart. "Hmmm....i would tell you, ofcourse. But first i need to tell you something." She tilted her head at him unsure what is his intention.
"Go ahead." She said still confused. He started moving towards her. She just placed katana on his chest warning him to not move. He just gigled and obeyed while stepping few step back. "Reader chan.... i think i fell in love with you." He cooed. She just stared at him. Not because of his confession but his voice had some feelings. Was that affection? How come he can show affection ? He is emotionless creature,right?
'No that's not what this is, he is just trying to make me let my guard down. But why would he do that ? he can just instantly kill me. Does he have some long game in his mind, to gather some information for demon king?'
He just giggled at her reaction and baffled reaction. "Reader chan looks so cute with that expression." With that comment she fixed her expression returning to nuetral.
"I know you must be sceptical about my sudden confession. But trust me i am also shocked at my heart for beating for the first time. After all this year, for the first time i felt alived. All because of you." He stated with hand on his heart. But for some reason it seems to genuine? No, he is just trying to make fool out her. He is just teasing her.
"Stop with that. I don't know what's your plan. You don't love me and even if you do but I don't. So if you are here, you should just fight with me. As our nature is, a demon and demon slayer can't fall in love." She stated with anger boiling in her tone.
"Hmmm? Don't say that. I have fall in love for the first time ever. It's not my fault you are a hashira or I fell for hashira. I know you don't love me yet. But don't worry, i have planned everything out. I have been collecting every possible information from my female followers about love and couple activity. I have planned whole night out with you." He said in cheerful tone. Now this tone seems off not genuine.
"You are lying about you loving me i don't trust you at all. You don't seems genuine even now. Your tone are mostly empty." With that he seems to be shocked and launched himself aiming at her. She quickly tried to dodge. So he showed his true intension at last.
Before she could retreat fully he grabbed her hand and made contact of her hand with his chest. It left her shocked. What is he doing ?
He whispered in her ear leaning down. "You don't trust me, reader chan? It's understandable but my heart won't lie. Listen and feel my heartbeat, this happened because of you." She freezed unsure what to do or what to think.
"Reader chan, i genuinely wants to be with you. I know for you, my tone may seems off most of the time. That's because of me still figuring out my emotions fully. But i know this for sure that only thing i feel is love for you."
She shooked her head backing off retreating her hand to herself." No you are lying. You wanted to eat me when you met me. That's not what love is." He just giggled. "That's my nature, reader chan. I need to eat human flesh and blood for survival. Eating you was my thought before i fell for you. I fell for you with our last conversation. But don't worry i won't eat you now. I want to be with you for eternity. While you being my side."
She looked dead at his eyes. "Just because you won't eat me, should i be grateful? You still ate numerous human and will continue to eat them. You and i are no match. I am glad you could feel some emotion because of me. I won't necessarily blame you for eating them. As you couldn't feel anything. So helding you and other demon responsible in same manner won't be fair. But i can't love you ever." Many emotions clashing at the same time.
His smile still plastered over his face as if he expected all this reaction. "I just need you to give me a chance. I promise i can make you fall for me as i fell for you." He said while widely smiling. "No, thanks. Now, fight me."
His smile wipped away. "Huhh?" He seemed genuinely confused.
"What?" She asked. "Why are you rejecting my offer? In my cult every women desires me. They devote themselves completely to me. They keep on gifting me with their all. They even say whoever will marry me will be lucky. Now that i love you, i want to be with you forever." Her eyes twitched. How come he is so delusional ?
But he seemed genuinely shocked. She sighed. "Look douma, you are indeed most beautiful and handsome male i ever seen. Both at once. But love is not about only looks. Yes, it is a big factor. But there are many things to consider. For example, compatibility, opinions, roles, emotional dependancy, etc. A lot of thing, you can't just expect everyone to fall for you because you're pretty."
"Hmmm? Reader chan think i am handsome and beautiful? That too most handsome? ohhhooo." He cooed while clapping his hand. He seemed delighted to know that she think him as pleasant looking. She looked at him deadpanned. Then she rolled her eyes. "Don't miss the main point."
He seems to be thinking about things she said after calming down. "You and me both are entire different species. I am human and you are demon. And top of that i am a hashira who's main target is to eliminate the demons. Other than that we have a huge power gap between us. You are way more powerful than i am." She added.
After thinking for a moment he finally started. "How about i train you to match my level? In return you can just go on night dates with me. Teaching you wouldn't be an issue. You are really talented and dedicated woman. You even cut off my arm and were really close to my neck despite you being short."
She started shaking in rage. "Who are you calling short? I am not short, i am an average heighted girl. You are the one looking like a mansion tall. It's not my fault you think everything as short with that height." She shouted at him while closing her eyes in rage.
When she opened her eyes, she frozed. He was now facing her while crouching down to her eye level with a genuine smile. "ohhh....you look so cute while shouting, Reader chan." His tone is sounding genuine. With that she felt that she lost her breath and was now red in face and ear. After some time, she turned her face away and coughed a little.
"Back off!!" She muttered trying to look furious. To her surprise he did back off. "Coming back to your offer, what benefit you have with that? Your master, 'demon king' what about him ? However i doubt, he is the who sent you here." He just chuckled. "I will be with you and will try to make you fall in love with me. This is my benefit. About muzan sama, he won't know. Trust me."
"Trust you??" She scoffed. "How come i can trust the person i just met? On top of that you are a demon. We both are enemy. But..." She started to think with hand in her chin and katana on other. 'Isn't it beneficial for me to train with him. I'll become stronger for corp. About his 'fall in love plan', i will definitely won't fall for a demon. Right ?
What if corp know about this ? Will they understand me ? I don't care. If it's not risky, then it's no fun. This is adventurous.' She started smiling. "Looks like reader chan is convinced." He clapped his hand in excitement.
"Partially." She stated. "I have some conditions. 1. You have 16 days only. In that timeline, you would first train me for 3 hours then we will go for outing." He nodded in agreement.
"2. No questions related to my hasira life and demon slayer corp. Personal life ? I will anwer if i find it appropriate. " He nodded with smile. "3. During outings you won't harm any human." He pouted. "Why ? Why ? Why ?" He started whining like a child.
"Ok then, deal cancel." With that he suddenly stopped whining. "Any other conditions ?" He asked with grin. "Yes.4. No intimate physical touch until i say 'yes' and 5. I have every right to say 'no' if i won't fall for you. After that you won't force me." His smilled thinned but nodded. "Ok then deal." With that she forwarded her hand. He just stared at her slightly confused.
She just reached out to his hand with her other. With that she made him shake hand with her. "Western people use this impression when they fix deals." She explained to him. He just smilled. "Reader chan, is to smart and knows a lot. We should do it more often." He said still shaking her hand. "Ok, now you can leave my hand." He complied.
"I have to admit. You got some nice taste in decoration. The way you have decorated your bedroom with these pleasant colours is very pretty. The lotus design are very pretty." He complimented. She just nodded proudly and said "I know. It's my favourite after all."
He started chuckling a little too hard. "What's wrong ?" She asked. "Nothing. Just you and i seems to have a lot in common." She just shooked her head in denial and frowned a little. "Ain't no way, you and i have anything in common." she stated crossing her arms. "You'll get to know pretty soon, Reader chan."
"Well can i ask you one thing ?" She asked. He seems to be delighted. "Reader chan wants to ask me a question. How fortunate i am ? Is it about me ? Please ask." He beamed. "Well, kind of. Why do you like me anyways? How can you be sure that you are in love with me and it's not just admiration? Considering you were not able to feel anything before, you can have some confusion."
He thought about that for some time. She would be lying if she says he is not cute. He looked just like a cute cat despite looking so tall. Yes, he does give off the cat vibe. Dramatic, cute and clingy. She loved cats.

Every word coming out of his mouth sounded so genuine. The way he is thinking so hard to find words to express himself is surprising him too. Why he is not able to lie flawlessly as he was doing for century ? Reader was just shocked and nodded a little. She couldn't find word.
With that he leaned down. "Be ready for tomorrow night you will be experiencing best. Good night." He cooed in her ears. After that he just disappeared in thin air. Her eyes wide and ear red in sensation. For some reason, he seemed to be sound more genuine.
Then it hit her. "I forgot to ask how he knew this location." She just face palmed herself. How can she be so naive and forget to ask such important questions? She decided she will ask him next time. She will not tell him anything about demon slayer corp. She haves to create some boundaries with him.
With that she looked around every room once again. Then she went to bed still thinking about strange incounter. She will not fall for him, right? But, he seems to be so charming and handsome. No, she will not. Looks doesn't matter, he is still a demon. He even hurt kanae chan.
