(Due to forgetting about contest entry while creating my novel i had to delete the previous work so I am recreating the novel again So add it to your library and give it power stones I have completed the vetting process today. This is a new chapter)

After storing the deed away, Yuanfeng remained seated while Miss Song prepared to finalize the remaining matters

"Miss song does your Jin shang hall handle interior and pond construction"

"Yes Young master Lin", she said. "Please describe it in detail."

Her brush glided softly over a new sheet of paper.

Yuanfeng nodded. "I want a pond in the main courtyard—around thirty square meters. A proper depth, stable foundations. In the center, build a small tea pavilion, suitable for resting and appreciating the scenery."

His gaze lowered thoughtfully. "And a wooden bridge connecting the pavilion to the shore., and a side pond connected to the larger one this only needs to be three square meters. , for growing spiritual aquatic herbs / fry later. Please help me calculate the cost and duration first"

She looked up, confirming the numbers once more before calculating with her abacus. Soft clacks filled the room.

"For two ponds of those specifications," she began, "including excavation, stone lining, pavilion framework, roof tiles, and a simple arched bridge… the total comes to 60 low-grade spirit stones. All materials provided by Jin Shang Hall. Construction will take no more than three days."

Yuanfeng considered the estimate.

'Not cheap… but for long-term cultivation and peace of mind, worth every stone.'

"That price is acceptable."

Miss Song smiled lightly. "Then I will record it under your file. Our craftsmen will begin work tomorrow morning. You may inspect the progress whenever convenient."

"After removing the construction cost-60 stones and seeds-200 stones purchase from earlier 380 stones here is your 120 low grade spirit stones"

She handed him a 100 low grade spirit stones and rice seeds

bowed respectfully

"Thankyou for your purchase Young master Lin"

After collecting the goods, Yuanfeng cupped his fists.

"My thanks, Miss Song."

"It is our honor, Young Master Lin."

With that settled, Lin Yuanfeng finally stepped out of Jin Shang Hall, the late-afternoon sunlight brushed across his face, warm yet exhausting, relief slowly washing over him like a gentle tide

That was… dangerous, but at least it ended well,

he exhaled silently

Good. Now I just need to focus on cultivation… and keep my family safe.

He adjusted the strap of his pouch and blended into the flow of pedestrians, disappearing into the bustle of Qing Shui Town.

----

High in the top floor of Jin Shang Hall, Jin Qingchen and Elder Zhou watched Yuanfeng leave.

For a moment, neither spoke.

Then, as silently as a drifting shadow, a dark-clothed figure appeared behind them, kneeling.

"Elder Zhou, Young Master," the man reported, voice steady. "We have investigated the location Young Master Lin described. Everything he claimed matches reality. There are traces of a sword talisman's strike, remnants of scent-concealing liquid, and the corpse fragments of a Tier-1 iron-back bear."

Elder Zhou nodded slowly. "As expected."

The shadow retreated into the darkness without another word.

Zhou clasped his hands behind his back, gaze still following the direction Yuanfeng had disappeared. "A calm temperament… steady in speech… and daring enough to enter the forest for the sake of his parents despite being robbed. A rare seed. With proper guidance, he could grow into something noteworthy."

Jin Qingchen hummed in agreement, though his expression sharpened. "Indeed. But this matter is far from simple."

His eyes turned cold—clear and cutting like a drawn sword.

"That outer disciple… he wasn't carrying ordinary goods. He was bringing a package of resources meant for the Jin family. Yet someone intercepted him and killed him right before reaching Qing Shui Town." His fingers thumped the windowsill. "And now rumors are spreading about our ancestors. Someone is making their move."

Elder Zhou's brows tightened. "A deliberate strike. Testing reactions… sowing unrest."

"Mm." Jin Qingchen's voice lowered to a blade-thin whisper. "Find the source. Whether it's a family, a sect, or rats hiding in the alleys—I want them exposed. Once identified, the Jin family will reward you personally."

"Yes, Young Master," Elder Zhou said with a deep bow, though his eyes carried unease.

Jin Qingchen turned and left the room, killing intent trailing faintly behind him.

When he was gone, Elder Zhou looked out the window once more. The streets rolled with the usual noise and color of a town at peace… yet the undercurrents were undeniable.

A long sigh slipped from his chest.

"Storms are gathering… The turmoil in Qing Shui Town has already begun."

He, too, stepped away, leaving only the drifting sunlight illuminating the empty floor.

----****----

After checking through several shops and confirming the prices of tools, seeds, and materials, he finally reached his destination

Wanbao Dian building towered before him like a silent mountain of jade and gold, its doors engraved with intricate spirit patterns that pulsed faintly.

Lin Yuanfeng paused for a breath. The closer he stood, the stronger the pressure became subtle, invisible, unmistakably belonging to a grand formation.

A calm yet ancient aura pressed faintly against visitors, as if warning them that this place not something they can trifled with.

Yuanfeng's gaze swept across the entrance.

Craftsmen… formation masters… spiritual refiners… This hall gathers all of them. No wonder its reputation surpasses most merchants in the district.

He took a breath and stepped inside.

The interior was spacious, filled with soft lighting and an elegant fragrance of polished spirit wood. Rows of counters held jade slips, formation plates, spiritual ores, and talisman brushes.

An attendant in dark green robes approached with a polite bow.

"Esteemed customer, welcome to Wanbao Dian. May I know what you seek?"

Yuanfeng cupped his fists.

"I wish to inquire about the sale of a Spiritual Farmer Legacy, preferably a complete one."

The attendant's brows lifted slightly—surprise flickering for an instant. "A spiritual farmer legacy? Those are uncommon requests.

"He motioned politely. "Please follow me."

They walked toward a quieter section of the first floor where jade slips rested inside protective glass cases. The attendant pointed to one quieter shelf where a single jade slip rested atop a sapphire cushion.

"This is a Tier-1 Spiritual Farmer Legacy," the attendant explained.

"It includes spirit-field preparation, three Tier-1 field formations, seed nourishment techniques, soil attribute recognition, and beginner-grade spiritual tool handling."

"Price?"

"120 low-grade spirit stones."

Yuanfeng nodded. "I'll take it."

The attendant bowed and packaged the jade slip with care.

"Is there anything else the Young Master requires?"

"Not for now," Yuanfeng replied. "This is enough."

"As you wish." The attendant retrieved the jade slip, completed the transaction, and handed it over respectfully. "Just a reminder: this jade slip self-erases after one use."

Yuanfeng nodded, storing it into his pouch. "Understood."

With nothing more to purchase, Yuanfeng exited Wanbao Dian with steady steps.

With this legacy… and those seeds from Tiandan Dian… It's time to prepare the next stage.

The roads grew busier as he neared his manor. Merchants were shouting, cultivators haggling, spirit beasts pulling carts—it was a lively atmosphere, but his mind remained calm.

He reached home as the late afternoon light turned orange.

----

Lin Yuanfeng stepped into the courtyard just as the sunset washed the tiles in a soft golden glow. His parents were tidying the space his father checking the fence, his mother sorting herbs on a bamboo tray.

"Fenger, you're back?" Yue Lingxin turned, smiling gently. "You look tired. Come, sit."

Yuanfeng shook his head with a faint smile. "Mother, Father… I have something important to tell you."

Both paused immediately.

He took out a delicate jade plaque - the land deed - and placed it on the stone table.

His father's brows rose. "This is…?"

"A land deed," Yuanfeng said softly. "The deed to the manor land we're living on."

Both parents froze.

He continued, explaining everything smoothly:

"The owner of the storage pouch I turned in was from the Spirit Sword Sect's Jin family. Young Master Jin Qingchen personally came to question the matter. After listening to my explanation and understanding our situation… he felt that our family had been wronged."

He looked at them sincerely.

"So he paid the full amount and gave us this deed. This land now belongs to us. There's no need to worry about being chased out or paying rent ever again."

Yue Lingxin covered her mouth in disbelief, eyes moistening."Fenger… such a blessing… we… we don't even know how to thank..."

"No need," Yuanfeng said gently. "They acted fairly. That is enough."

Lin Changsheng let out a long breath, shoulders loosening for the first time in months. "To think someone like that exists in the Jin family… Today, this father can finally sleep well."

Yuanfeng smiled at both of them.

"Starting today, I'll begin cultivating seriously. So for the next few days, I'll need both of you to manage the household matters."

He then brought out a small wooden scroll.

"Also, I've arranged pond construction with Jin Shang Hall. They'll build one large pond with a tea pavilion in the center, and a small pond beside it."

He turned to his mother.

"Mother, please supervise the construction. If you want adjustments - placement of stones, pavilion style, flower beds - tell the workers directly. They will listen."

Then he looked at his father.

"Father, I'll need your help too. Stay by her side, check the work, and make sure no one takes shortcuts."

Lin Changsheng nodded with pride. "You can rest assured. With your mother's eye for detail and my hands, we'll see it done properly."

Yue Lingxin smiled softly. "Leave the ponds to us. Just focus on cultivating well."

Yuanfeng's heart warmed at their calm acceptance.

He bowed lightly toward them. "Then I'll rely on you both. From tomorrow onward, things will start changing for our family."

They shared a quiet family moment, the fading sunlight painting their faces with gentle warm.

The small family standing at the beginning of a new path.

----

After exchanging a few more warm words with his parents, Lin Yuanfeng returned to his room.

The moment he closed the door, he pressed his palm against a small jade plate fixed to the wall.

Hum…

A faint ripple spread outward, enveloping the entire room.

The sound-proof formation activated. The noises of the outside world faded into absolute stillness.

Yuanfeng exhaled, then sat cross-legged on his mat. His mind was steady.

"System… open inventory."

A translucent panel materialized before him, filled with items he had gathered over the past days.

Among them—floating with a soft, mysterious glow—was a purple card, its surface etched with runes that seemed to shift like living mist.

The sight made his heart beat faster.

Purple grade… a constitution. Something rare enough that cultivators fight lifetimes to obtain.

He inhaled deeply, calming his excitement.

His fingertip touched the card.

At once it shattered—no, dissolved—into a swirling storm of violet radiance.

The particles shot into his body like strands of celestial flame.

A heartbeat later—

BOOM!

A vast, majestic force erupted inside him, shaking every meridian and widening them.

His skin shimmered faintly.

His blood thundered through his veins like a raging river of molten jade.

His bones hummed in resonance—dang… dang… dang…as if struck by invisible immortal bells.

Yet, there was no pain.

Instead—A profound warmth, cleansing, pure, like bathing in sacred spring water, swept through every inch of flesh.

Deep within, dormant impurities loosened and melted away.

His pores opened, releasing faint threads of gray mist—impurities evaporated before they even touched the air.

His breathing deepened, steady and powerful.

His aura sharpened, bright and quiet like a polished blade resting in its sheath.

Then—

A calm voice echoed gently across the system panel:

The violet glow finally receded.

Lin Yuanfeng opened his eyes slowly.

Within them, the darkness shimmered like clear obsidian, reflecting a hint of ethereal light.

His clothes rested lightly against his skin—completely clean, untouched by dirt or sweat.

Even the faint smell of exertion that normally lingered after a long day had vanished, replaced by a gentle, natural fragrance reminiscent of fresh morning dew.

He lifted his hand.

His skin was smooth, jade-like, faintly translucent, as if sculpted anew.

A whisper left his lips.

"So this… is the Dust-Free Immortal Body."

For the first time in a long while, a genuine smile surfaced on his face calm, steady, quietly delighted.

"With this… cultivation, farming, refining - everything will change."

Outside, the night deepened into tranquil silence.

But inside Lin Yuanfeng's room ....
