Chapter 82 - Reason (82)

He was confused a bit; they didn't know the basic shit about that Haki stuff.

KAIRO truly was stunned.(had to emphasis it just in case)

He really thought all this shit was common knowledge. He said it as if he wasn't part of a clan of ninja, who worked in the shadows and preserved the history of the world for more than 800 years.

He wondered how much the World Government had suppressed. Was his clan targeted because they held so many truths?

If that was it, that made him annoyed, even more pissed at the government—so they attacked because the fucking World Government was afraid. Fucking pussies.

His people were slaughtered for fucking knowing the truth.

And he was experimented on because of that.

"HUH!" David paused a bit.

What was that sudden train of thought he just had?

Experimented on... he didn't remember such shit. Like, if he did, the person doing the experiment must have had a really big ass head because Kairo remembered an apple.

Kairo sighed a bit. His head was filled with so many memories; he didn't even know what was real and what was fake anymore.

He sighed. He was dead tired from this memory fuckery bullshit. What kind of plot did this god give him? It felt like if his past was revealed, he might deadass get a 4 billion Berry bounty, which was a lot.

He wasn't strong enough to deserve such a bounty—maybe a billion, like 1.5 billion, 2 billion if you stretch it—but deadass, 4 billion is way above his strength level.

While his ass would not be getting one-shotted by Kaido's Thunder Bagua, due to him being a Lunarien and having insane defense with his flame on, he would not be winning that fight with Kaido. The old fuck would win, low to mid-difficulty, since Kairo can, in fact, hurt him with Ryo and Conqueror coating—yet Kairo's level wasn't that high yet.

He could be considered mid-high tier; as in, he could beat Vice Admirals and below rank fighters but would struggle and deadass lose to people above that rank.

Granted, he wouldn't lose to people like Smoker or Greenbull. Smoker because... well, he was a bum and was basically smurfing at the rocks.

As for Greenbull, well, let's say it like this: he was a tree Logia... Kairo had an axe and a sword that shoot fire.

Kairo could teleport, and to just make it worse, Kairo's matchup against people with short tempers was quite high.

You see, David possessed a skill called "Rage Baiting." As a troll, he was, in fact, good at that. So the angrier a person was in general, preferably if they believed that Kairo was sheer evil and needed to be erased from existence, the better his matchup would be.

If he was facing an admiral who was calm, like Kizaru or Kuzan, shit, he'd get packed up.

But if, God forbid, it was that donut maker or the guy who whimpered to Shanks' Haki fighting him, granted, they'd still win 6 to 8 times out of 10, but that meant Kairo got more chances.

For example, someone like Kuzan, after seeing his teleportation and seeing him toss his kunai in the ocean, would freeze the ocean to avoid getting sent there.

But someone like Akainu, per se, mid-rage bait, and six "your momma" jokes in, would not be thinking of that, and thus, easy dubs... still Kairo might get heavily burned, but a win was a win in his book.

So yes, this was how his matchup worked.

He just needed to work on this skill of his: the Rage Bait no-mi.

Even Akainu had that fruit—rage baiting Ace into getting his guts massacred like no other.

Oh well, this was for the future.

As they landed on the island.

"WOW, it's like they said, this island is so long?!" Luffy's excitement was very evident on the boy's face.

His gaze looking around, he could see the island.

"Awesome!" Chopper's eyes seemed to glow, looking at the island.

Zoro was setting up the sail and docking the ship. Sanji seemed to be making food for everyone.

Nami still seemed to be experimenting with her power. Usopp could be seen looking at the island with excitement. Luffy had already jumped off the ship and was running around exploring the island, his eyes glowing as he looked around.

This place looked so cool. He just wanted to explore, acting as if 10 seconds ago, he had not just heard some forbidden knowledge.

As for Nico Robin, her gaze was still on the writing in Kairo's book... some of the writing was in the ancient tongue and from the doodle Kairo drew next to them.

It was clear his ass didn't know fuck all about how to read them.

But she did.

Let's see.

First World: Humanity's greed led them to touch the "Forbidden Sun," prompting the Sun God Nika to appear and save the enslaved. The Earth God, enraged, allied with the Serpent of Infernal Flames to shroud the world in darkness, resulting in the separation of the gods and humans, and the end of the First World.

Second World: A "breath" stirred, and the Forest God sent forth demons. The Sun God, still present, fueled more war. The People of the Half-Moon and the Moon People dreamed of a better world. Humanity ultimately killed the Sun, becoming divine, and the Sea God raged, leading to another world's destruction and separation.

Third World: This current era is the third world, the demon of the earlier world pulling the strings from the shadows, sinking the world into the ocean. The Sun God shall return.

Her brow furrowed. There was more stuff, but it seemed like the seal in this book wasn't allowing her to go further. It seemed some of Kairo's blood was needed, and he needed to be close or give permission or something.

Oh well.

A/N. Feel like some people are starting to realise that while David may have just isekai into this bitch, Kairo has history...alot of it, also didnt give this story isekai nor transmigation role for a reason.

Playing around with the idea of souls...returning back to homeworld after reincarnation.

Kairo D. Soryu.

Something I now realise, the ai cut out some part, let me say it here.

The book can only be opened by someone the user either deeply trust or have intense feeling for.

Do keep that in mind.
