After getting the old man to Jaya, and getting thanked by said old man, the crew would make their way to the next island.
They didn't need to stay on Jaya for long, they had virtually zero purpose of staying there.
Like deadass, none at all.
So they would make their way back toward the sea, following their eternal log pose.
Kairo wasn't that well versed in this world so right now he was currently reading a shit ton of newspapers.
Let's see, the current top dogs of the navy were Kizaru, Aokiji, and finally the donut maker himself—Sakazuki, or simply just Akainu.
He would find what devil fruit they used and so on. On another note, he would begin learning about Davy Back Fights.
Those were info he needed.
The more he knew, the more he could update his internal system to have the best and most reliable spying network in all this world.
Luffy's first dream was probably to be King of the Pirates, his second dream was probably some shit like having a party and inviting everyone to said party.
Kairo looked in the sky... it was very windy, that was 100% Nami's doing. She was moving the clouds around quite skillfully.
She seemed to be getting really good at this devil fruit stuff.
"Awesome, we're floating on white clouds!" Luffy's eyes seemed to shine as their boat wasn't even touching the sea anymore and was just cruising on some clouds.
"Nami-swan is amazing!" Once more Sanji was on her clit like crazy.
Kairo didn't pay attention to that right now, he was sure she could awaken the fruit—it was practically made for someone like her.
Nami seemed to be focused.
She had found out she could make a bunch of clouds.
As she summoned a soft cloud on the ship, Luffy would lay on it.
"Ah, it's so soft and fluffy."
"I want one! Nami, can I have one?" Chopper would plead with his innocent look, and of course Nami gave the reindeer what it wanted.
She was getting very good at this cloud stuff. If she was given 2 years to master this power she could pull off some truly amazing feats.
Maybe even awaken the devil fruit if need be. She already synchronized with the devil fruit so well, it wouldn't be a stretch for someone like her to fully awaken this wonderful logia devil fruit.
Speaking of devil fruits, Kairo's brow furrowed as he listened to Usopp asking for one.
He didn't want to hear that crap. The guy didn't even fully master the moves he was given, so of course he wasn't finna get a devil fruit.
Plus, as a sniper his main goal was to offer assists and to hit from afar.
Something the Kilo-Kilo no Mi, the Wax-Wax Fruit, and the Bomb-Bomb Fruit couldn't really help him with.
Though maybe the bomb could help... still, not giving this long-nosed bastard a devil fruit yet.
He needed to get better at what he was already known for.
And that wasn't lying.
Kairo closed his eyes, meditating a bit. If only he could get a bit stronger.
He felt as if he could hear the Merry Go. He didn't ignore it.
The Merry seemed to really like Usopp and also seemed to wish to get repaired.
Speaking of that—
Later that night, as they were separating the profits, Sanji seemed to be doing the math.
"Even if we sell all the gold... we would still have enough gold left over to buy everything you want 100x times over."
"I want a lot of meat!" The certified crackhead would say.
"I want more ammo!" Usopp.
"Candy!" Chopper.
"A lot of booze." Zoro would say. Kairo didn't bother saying shit, he made his own stuff—though if he could get his hands on some explosives, that would do.
He wondered what arc was next. Was it Water 7?
So getting ready for some CP Agents.
In canon they kidnapped Robin and almost killed some guy, even tortured her.
Kairo didn't even realize it, but his fist clenched at that thought. His body's first reaction to that info was being pissed.
Like deadass, hella pissed.
He didn't know why, but he was just mad about it. He 100% felt nothing for Nico Robin.
He just would happen to crash out if anything happened to her.
Yeah, that was it.
That was what friends do, wasn't it?
He paused, then sighed.
No biggie. Those CP Agents weren't that strong compared to him.
Plus, Luffy already had access to Gear 2 and 3, alongside Haki.
And if things played out well, his Observation Haki should be getting way sharper in the future, so there was that.
By the time the two-year timeskip ended, Luffy would have been as strong as he was in Wano at the start of the timeskip.
That buff was plausible.
So Kairo had his goal set. By the end of that time, he would be way stronger than that.
After all, he still held a lot of pride in being a ninja.
