Rick woke up to sunlight coming through the curtains and a pleasant ache in his body from working hard but being happy. For a while, he just lay there, thinking about what had happened with Liora the night before.
The High Priestess had been passionate and, surprisingly, playful. She had made it clear that she wanted to deepen their relationship. He ran his fingers over the small mark on his neck that she had left there, just below his collar.
She called it a "reminder," and she smiled with that mischievous look that was so different from how calm she usually was that Rick can clearly imagine it in his mind, and he starts laughing slowly like a creep. "Heh... hehehe... hahahaha!"
