Chapter 278: The Soul Destroying Demonic Light
As the two massive seven colored fire dragons coiled toward the Gold and Silver Elders, their expressions shifted drastically. Panic flashed in their eyes, and they retreated even faster.
The strength of this Heavenly Flame far exceeded their expectations it was their natural nemesis.
In their prime, the two might have had a chance to fight back. However, their current strength was a mere fraction of its former glory. They were no match for Xiao Yan.
But no matter how quickly they retreated, Xiao Yan was faster. His feet lightly tapped the air, tearing open spatial rifts beneath him as his figure closed the distance.
"Go."
Xiao Yan flicked his sleeves, and the two fire dragons, as if alive, wrapped tightly around the Gold and Silver Elders.
"This is bad!"
The Elders' faces twisted in fear as black demonic energy surged from their bodies, trying to resist. Yet, in the presence of the Heavenly Flame, the dark energy sizzled and dissipated like smoke in the wind.
The demonic energy, which had once plunged Spring God City into a hellish nightmare, now seemed laughably weak against this pure, destructive force.

"I thought you two would be much stronger. Turns out, you're just so so."
Xiao Yan sneered as the fire dragons grew fiercer, their flames burning ever hotter as they pressed closer to the Elders.
"Boy, don't push us too far! If you force us into a corner, you'll regret it!"
The Gold and Silver Elders snarled, their blood red eyes glaring at Xiao Yan with malevolent fury.

With a quick shift of his hand seals, the two fire dragons began to rotate. With every rotation, the temperature in their center grew exponentially hotter, radiating an energy so intense it seemed to want to incinerate the very fabric of reality.
The Elders' Transformation
Faced with the growing power of Xiao Yan's flames, the Gold and Silver Elders seemed to realize their predicament. Their gazes hardened with resolve.
"You're leaving us no choice, brat! If we're going to die, then we'll take you with us!"
Their bodies suddenly began to swell, their skin splitting apart to reveal blood red fissures. These gashes oozed with dark energy before they morphed into grotesque, bloodshot eyes.

"Not even the heavens can save you now."
With a final hand seal, Xiao Yan commanded the fire spirits to converge. The vortex intensified, collapsing inward with destructive force.
A Last Ditch Effort
"Fine, if you won't show mercy, then we'll make you regret it!"
The Elders roared in unison, their grotesque forms trembling violently.
Before Xiao Yan could react, their bodies exploded into pools of dark, viscous blood. Yet, instead of dissipating, the blood reformed into a single entity a palm sized, pitch black eyeball.
The eyeball pulsated with an ominous energy, exuding a pressure that even Xiao Yan found unsettling.
"What is this…"
The black eye opened, revealing a blood red pupil that radiated a sinister light.
"Behold the power of the Soul Demon Clan's ultimate technique Soul Destroying Demonic Light!"
A beam of crimson energy shot out from the eye, tearing through the air and hurtling toward Xiao Yan with terrifying speed.
