We finished eating some food at the cafe, before leaving for the labyrinth again.
All the while Claire's cocky words revolved in my head, "Of course, I am here."
How can a woman be this hot?
I looked to my side, watching as Claire walked alongside me calmly.
Her long coat fluttered in the wind as she moved, her loose tee inside hugging her figure perfectly, highlighting those seductive curves.
And her black trousers were a cherry on top– wrapped around her sexy thighs and legs.
Behind us Eva walked as well, sipping on her cold coffee with a straw, looking careless and cheery.
She was dressed in a baggy robe, which unfortunately hid her bust.
Though with every wind that blew, her figure peeked for some moments.
And those were one of the best moments of my life.
Damn, fuck that unfortunate labyrinth incident, I felt great!
When we reached near the labyrinth's staircase, Eva suddenly stopped us.
"Should we buy some potions for security?" she proposed.
"Huh? Why? Your healing will be enough." Claire said with a confused look.
"Still Clay, you can never be too safe. Don't forget that he is a newbie, he is prone to get hurt."
Wow, Claire had such a cute nickname?
Clay. I looked at her beautiful face and nodded to myself.
Yep, it suited her.
"Ah, well buy some small and medium ones. We can use them for smaller injuries." She shrugged.
"That's what I had in mind as well." Eva chuckled and happily skipped over to the potion shop.
I glanced towards Claire and she had already lit another cigarette by now, leaning against a wall as we both waited for Eva.
Maybe I was staring at her a bit too weirdly, as she looked at me with a squint and passed it towards me.
Just when I moved to take it, she pulled her hand backwards and took a puff right in front of my eyes.
What the–
She moved closer, too fast for me to react as her lips pressed against mine, smoke trailing down my mouth.
I could only open my eyes wide in shock before closing them and moving my hand to grab her neck from behind.
What a pleasant surprise.
Now it was her turn to be surprised, as she flinched for a second before returning the kiss with even more vigor.
My other hand began to slide across her thin waist, but before it could get naughtier, Claire held it and moved it back to her waist.
She separated, a thin line of saliva connecting us, as she licked her lip and chuckled, "Not now. Eva's coming back."
And before I could react, she moved away.
Leaning back against the wall and taking drags as if nothing happened.
Excuse me?!
At least don't act like nothing happened, bitch.
I have my hardened little broski to prove that SOMETHING did happen!
I clicked my tongue and leaned on the wall as well, cursing under my breath.
She didn't even pass it to me!
By now Eva returned, holding a small purse under her arm, that suited her cute nature quite well.
If it wasn't for the robe that hid her body so much, it would've looked even better.
We entered back inside the labyrinth, and when we passed through the pass check, Claire and Eva simply showed a card.
They didn't need to pay any fee as they went in without a hitch.
Though I had no pass, how would I get in?
I was just planning to do the same process I did with Ruby and the group, Claire turned towards me.
"Come, I added you as my partner." she said.
Oh, that's quite cool.
I passed the security without a hitch as well, and when we reached the darkness veil, Claire crushed the cig under her boots, before offering me a hand.
By a stroke of luck, I was in the between, so I was able to offer my other hand to Eva, who held it gently.
Her hand felt even softer than Claire's, maybe due to the fact that Claire was a fighter while Eva was a healer?
Together, we entered the labyrinth and the space warp rattled my insides once again.
Though this time I had Claire to lean on till I felt better.
"You ran the first floor with them, correct?" Claire asked after I was feeling better.
I nodded.
"Good, then start, we both are here so don't worry." She gently nudged me in the forward direction.
It was dark, my vision was still greatly hindered as I had to walk in a straight line.
I don't know where the monster would come from, as I was nearly blind except for 5-10 meter distance around me.
Claire and Eva were so silent while trailing me that I couldn't even hear their footsteps!
I turned around, just to take a look at them, but they were both gone!
Nervousness gripped me, and I intoned a command without any delay.
My heavy, metallic falcata slowly materialized right in my arms, along the scabbard that I stored back inside the inventory.
I was still nervous, but now I felt more confident as I made my way deeper into the labyrinth.
A goblin suddenly crept into my vision right in front of me, his yellowed teeth snarling at me and his hands clutching the dagger tightly.
Level 4, most likely.
I have already beaten this foe before, and now I am stronger than before.
The only difference was that I cannot see my protectors this time, while earlier, Ruby was always there and giving me important insights every time I faced something new.
Not that it mattered too much.
This felt more realistic. There was a strange sense of danger this time, which kept me more serious and on the edge.
The goblin still reminded me of those short, crying, annoying kids, which triggered my urge to kick him so bad!
When the goblin moved closer to me, I watched his dagger's movement, and when I was sure that he couldn't hit me, I kicked him.
Fuck you, child!
It felt just as satisfying as the last time, watching him get slapped across the floor.
Though this time I didn't waste time with the unarmed kill, and used my falcata to stab it through his heart.
That was the least bloody and clean method I could think of.
The difference between a weapon kill and unarmed was so small that it was insignificant.
For the lower level, at least.
For higher levels, even a single percentage of exp mattered.
"Reckless." I heard Eva's angelic voice out of nowhere, but when I looked around to find her, she was nowhere to be seen.
I groaned, ignoring them as I focused on the labyrinth, moving deeper.
Let's see if I can level up to 7 by clearing all the monsters in my way.

A/N - I read the complaints regarding the MC's addiction to cig, which may be uncomfortable for some. I can't change Claire's style as that's how I imagine her, but I will stop mentioning about it and especially for the MC.
