Austin's POV
Before we dive into the Percy situation, I need to ask something that's been bothering me. I've been holding back, letting Andrew speak his piece. I get his anger about Lara's father being a complete bastard, and I know if anyone tried to separate me from my sisters, there'd be hell to pay. So his fury about Sam raising Lara to be like him makes sense. He doesn't realize Lara was just another victim in Sam's twisted games.
"You said Lara's mother was named Yesenia, right?" I direct this at both Alpha Andrew and Lara.
"That was her name," Andrew confirms.
I turn to Lara. "But Alan found records under Briana, and you agreed that was correct."
"Yes, I was wondering about that too. Father always called my mother Briana, and that's the name Alan discovered when he tracked down the money."
Andrew's growl rumbles low and dangerous.
"What's wrong?" Harlan asks his father.
