Faith's POV
The predatory gleam in Alpha Percy's eyes as he strides toward us makes my stomach clench with unease. His hands rub together like he's preparing for a feast, and I'm starting to wonder if we're the main course.
"Time to see what those Academy instructors have been drilling into your heads," he announces, voice carrying across the training grounds. "Henderson warned me not to hospitalize any of you, but with her and Luna Dorothy both here to patch you up, I'm feeling generous with my restraint."
News of our sparring request spread through the pack like wildfire. After yesterday's brutal takedown of Alpha Dion, every available warrior has gathered to witness what promises to be either an impressive display or a complete massacre. The crowd's energy buzzes with anticipation.
"So what's the plan? Want me to demolish all four of you simultaneously?" Percy asks, stretching his neck until it pops.
My jaw tightens at his casual arrogance.
