Percy's POV
"Want to listen in?" I ask Joseph after we end the video call.
"It's always beneficial to witness just how ruthless you can become, Percy," he responds, moments before the people who've softened my edges knock at the door.
I rise and move toward the entrance. Before I can reach it, the door swings open and my collection of daughters floods into the office.
"DADDY!" they chorus, rushing in my direction. Having learned from one of the finest fathers I know how to handle multiple children simultaneously, I maintain my stride while scooping up all four quadruplets, continuing toward the woman who has blessed me with everything I've ever dreamed of and infinitely more.
I bend over the girls cradled in my arms and my son nestled in hers, capturing my mate's lips in a kiss, drawing her deeper since my hands are occupied.
