Chapter 63 - Chapter 63: Rakshasa God!

The potency of the Yin Yang Twin Birth Herb continued to erupt, with black and white halos emanating from Bi Bidong's body, slowly merging into her two new Martial Souls.

As the last wave of medicinal energy was absorbed by Bi Bidong, the Martial Souls behind her underwent a complete transformation.

Bi Bidong slowly opened her eyes, her purple pupils reflecting the shimmering images of her Martial Souls.

The aura surrounding her had changed—now carrying both a chilling lethality and an unyielding dominance.

These two extreme forces merged perfectly within her, without the slightest hint of discord.

Sensing the power within, Bi Bidong rose from her mat.

With a gentle wave of her right hand, the Scepter Martial Soul, transformed from the Death Spider Emperor, materialized in her grasp.

Almost simultaneously, a faint purple glow enveloped her body.

Her Soul Power, like tangible silk, flowed and wrapped around her form, instantly weaving into an elegant purple palace gown.

The gown's collar and cuffs were embroidered with dark golden spider patterns, while its layered skirt swayed gently with her movements.

Bi Bidong's grip on the scepter tightened unconsciously, her knuckles turning pale from the force.

The deep blue patterns along the staff seemed to sense her emotions, glowing even brighter.

Unprecedented joy surged in Bi Bidong's eyes.

Her Martial Soul had truly evolved!

It was no longer that hideous, terrifying spider!

She slowly raised her hand, her fingertips brushing over the scepter's tip, which resembled a blood-red gemstone compound eye.

The usual sternness in her expression softened slightly, and she couldn't suppress a faint smile.

The glow of her Martial Soul faded quietly as the scepter dissolved into a stream of light and returned to her body.

Bi Bidong quickly walked over to Su Yu, her skirt tracing a graceful arc before she knelt down to meet his gaze.

She extended her arms, gently pulling Su Yu into an embrace, her hold trembling almost imperceptibly.

A long-lost tenderness welled in her eyes as a glistening tear traced down her fair cheek, landing with a cool touch on Su Yu's neck.

"Xiao Yu..."

Her voice trembled slightly, all her usual authority gone.

"Thank you. It's you who has given your teacher a new life."

Su Yu, held tightly in her embrace, felt her slight tremors.

He raised a hand to pat her back gently, his voice muffled from the tight hold:

"Teacher! You're squeezing me too hard—I can barely breathe!"

Only then did Bi Bidong snap back to reality, quickly loosening her grip.

Seeing his slightly flushed face, a flicker of apology crossed her eyes before she chuckled and ruffled his hair:

"I was just too happy and didn't realize my strength."

Su Yu took a deep breath, finally feeling relief in his chest. Noticing the lingering tear tracks at the corners of her eyes, he scratched his head sheepishly:

"As long as you're happy, Teacher."

"Teacher, I've prepared herbs for Nana too, so I'll take my leave now!"

"Mm, go ahead."

Su Yu walked toward the door, his steps light as if filled with warmth.

Just as his hand was about to touch the door, he paused and turned back to look at Bi Bidong in the hall.

The young man's gaze was clear and sincere, brimming with undisguised kindness:

"Teacher, could you smile more often from now on? Your smile is truly beautiful."

Bi Bidong froze, her fingertips instinctively brushing against her cheek where the cool trace of recent tears still lingered.

She gazed into Su Yu's bright eyes, feeling as if something had gently struck her heart, sending soft ripples through her being.

For so long, she had grown accustomed to encasing herself in a hardened shell. The words "beautiful" seemed like praise from a distant past.

She didn't respond immediately, only allowing the corners of her mouth to twitch slightly. That faint smile was like the first thaw of ice and snow, spreading a gentle light in her eyes.

Finally, she nodded gently, her voice soft yet clear as it reached Su Yu's ears:

"Alright."

Seeing this, Su Yu immediately broke into a radiant smile, waving vigorously:

"Then I'll be going!"

With those words, he turned and pushed the door open, his figure quickly disappearing beyond the doorway.

The hall returned to silence. Bi Bidong remained standing where she was, her fingertips still resting on her cheek.

The words "your smile is truly beautiful" seemed to still echo in the air.

As she looked at the closed door, that faint smile at the corner of her mouth lingered for a long time without fading.

After Su Yu left, Bi Bidong returned to her room.

Sitting before the mirror, she looked at her two Martial Souls, her eyes filled with joy.

Just then, the bronze mirror's surface suddenly rippled with an eerie purple glow, the light growing increasingly intense, nearly swallowing the reflection within.

A cold and authoritative voice abruptly sounded in the room, carrying undeniable pressure:

"Bi Bidong! Your God Trial has been stagnant for so long. Do you still wish to inherit my Godhood?"

The smile instantly vanished from Bi Bidong's face. Her eyes sharpened as she looked up at the purple glow in the mirror, her voice cold as frost:

"Rakshasa God! Your Godhood? When have I ever neglected the God Trial? But what have you given me?"

Her voice carried suppressed fury, each word clear and distinct:

"I have completed five trials. Far from receiving blessings, you instead place restrictions everywhere, tormenting me with those sinister tests! Is this what you call inheritance?"

"Impudent!"

The voice from the mirror suddenly turned severe, the purple light churning violently.

"I am the deity! Inheriting Godhood requires enduring trials and tribulations. Can you not even tolerate these tests?"

"If you lack such fortitude, are you even worthy of the Rakshasa God Position?"

Bi Bidong sneered, her Soul Power quietly stirring around her, faintly confronting the divine power from the mirror:

"Trials? Or is it that you simply don't want anyone to inherit your position?"

The purple glow in the mirror grew increasingly dense, as if struggling to break free from the glass. A cold aura permeated every corner of the room.

The voice from the mirror carried undisguised malice, like poison-tipped ice spikes piercing toward Bi Bidong:

"Hmph, Bi Bidong! That you, with your filthy body, can inherit my Godhood is already my greatest mercy!"

"You!"

Bi Bidong clenched her fists abruptly, her nails nearly digging into her palms.

The Soul Power around her instantly turned violent, purple flames of anger igniting in her eyes.

Memories of past humiliations forcibly branded upon her surged like tidal waves, nearly overwhelming her.

"Your young disciple seems quite attached to you."

The voice shifted its focus, filled with sinister inducement.

"If he were to learn about your disgraceful past, do you think he would still respect and protect you as he does now?"

"Shut up!"

Bi Bidong shouted sharply, the Rakshasa Mark between her brows flickering with purple light.

"I forbid you to touch him!"

"Touch him?"

The voice sneered, full of mockery.

"He's nothing but an ant. I wouldn't dirty my hands just to crush an insect!"
