"What were we supposed to do?" I asked back, genuinely confused by the way all three of them were staring at me like I had committed some terrible crime.
Soren leaned back lazily on the couch, his head tilted as he studied my face with a suspiciously amused expression. Even drunk, his eyes were sharp. A slow grin spread across his lips like he had already figured something out.
"I'm just curious… was it the first time doing it with him?" Soren asked.
"That's none of your business," I replied quickly, turning my face away. The moment the words left my mouth, I could feel heat rushing up my neck. My cheeks burned, and I knew I was probably bright red already.
Soren immediately pointed at me. "See? That reaction alone answers my question."
"It totally was," he declared.
"Awwn," Phoenix said, his tone suddenly soft and teasing as he leaned forward slightly. "That's actually adorable."
I groaned under my breath. Why were they all ganging up on me like this?
