"This is ridiculous," I said, then turned to Jamie and Soren. "Both of you are ridiculous."
Nothing surprise me more than the fact that they believed them. They were definitely lying how could anyone fall for such a trick?
It was so obvious that what they were saying wasn't true and yet some how they had convinced the omegas at the meeting that it was.
"Is that a thank you I hear?" Jamie asked smugly.
"I hear it too," Soren said with a smug smile. "You're welcome."
"I am—"
"Awwn, he's so shy," Jamie interrupted, grinning. "We understand. You're welcome."
"Whatever," I muttered, rolling my eyes and looking away from them.
We were in my house now. After the meeting ended, none of us felt like separating just yet, so we ended up here instead.
A lot of omegas at the meeting had taken my number.
The thought alone made my stomach twist.
