"Yes," Soren added. "The miracle tutor. He had a child go from the least in his class to the top of his class."
"What?" the omegas gasped, surprised.
"I did?" I asked, just as surprised.
The sound of their reactions washed over me, but my mind lagged behind, stuck on Soren's words. Least in his class to the top? My chest tightened slightly. I have only had this job for a month. I've thought just three children. What were they saying? From the least to the top? Who?
"Also made a child who hated studying love studying," Jamie said proudly.
"Oh my," the omegas gasped.
Their voices blended together, a mixture of disbelief and excitement. I shifted on my feet, suddenly very aware of how many eyes were on me. My hands instinctively folded in front of me, fingers curling into the sleeves of my sweater. The attention felt overwhelming. That never happened.
"They are so smart that they are smarter than the smartest person in the pack," Soren said.
I blinked.
