Ashelia nodded with a small smile, then she walked over to her pile of bows and picked one up, drawing the string slightly to test it. "Shall we get started then?"
Azrael raised a brow at her doubtfully. "You want me to teach you... now?"
"Yes, now," Ashelia replied instantly. "The sooner, the better, don't you think?"
"I'm sure," he told her, "but you seem tired, Milady. Shouldn't you consider resting for the day?"
Ashelia knew he was trying to make up an excuse to avoid teaching her today.
"I'm not tired," she insisted and it was the truth. She hardly ever got fatigued.
She smiled and eagerly turned her attention to one of the targets, readying her bow and gently pulling its string.
"So, how do I go about this?" she asked, and without waiting for him to answer, she drew the arrow to fire, only to have the string of the longbow snap.
