Far away from the cave where Odin, Athena's eldest daughter, and the wounded beasts were gathered, the three twins were sitting inside Odin's hall, conversing with Asgard itself and watching everything that was happening inside the cave unfold before their eyes—apparently with Asgard's own help.
When the twins saw what was happening, and the wounded beasts that Hades and the other brothers had brought, they did not understand at first what Odin was aiming for with this strange action.
They exchanged glances among themselves, confusion clearly written on their faces, yet none of them dared to ask directly.
In truth, they felt deeply embarrassed.
Just a short while ago, they had been asking Asgard about what was happening with Odin and the others, and it was Asgard who showed them the events inside the cave.
If they were to ask now about the meaning behind Odin's actions, they would feel as if they appeared before Asgard as foolish girls—unable to understand what was happening despite everything being shown to them.
Asgard observed the three twins, noticing their hesitation and obvious embarrassment about asking what was going on, and he chuckled softly to himself.
He reflected on how enjoyable it was to speak with them, and how easy and comfortable communication with the three twins felt.
The effort he had to exert just to try speaking with Odin even once was equal to the size of an ocean.
Yet speaking with the three twins—and letting them witness what was happening inside the cave through his power—
was not even a single drop from that ocean.
Asgard quickly pulled himself out of his thoughts, smiling faintly to himself:
This is wonderful… It will be easy to communicate with others later through them… hehehe.
While Asgard laughed inwardly at the twins' terrifying spiritual and prophetic talent, and their natural harmony with spiritual messages, the three twins continued watching the scene inside the cave with intense focus.
They saw Athena's eldest daughter healing the wounded creatures one after another.
Suddenly… it was as if a spark ignited in their minds at the very same moment.
The three twins spoke at once, quickly and with obvious excitement, addressing Asgard:
— "Our father is doing this to find out whether she can heal dark creatures or not, and whether she can control them afterward, just like she did with the bird… isn't that right, Grandfather Asgard?"
When Asgard heard their words, he emerged from his thoughts and looked at them with a friendly, impressed expression.
— "Well done, little twins. Indeed, Odin wishes to discover that by using these wretched creatures."
When the three twins realized that their conclusion was correct, they burst into joyful laughter, their voices filled with pride and triumph in their intuition.
Still watching the cave, they said:
— "If Athena's eldest daughter manages to heal those creatures, she will become an important figure to Asgard…"
— "Even if she cannot control them using her energy."
Upon hearing this, Asgard frowned slightly and spoke in a low voice, heavy with thought:
— "You are right, little twins… If Athena's eldest daughter truly becomes a healer, she will be the first healer in Asgard.
That girl will become a great asset to us in our wars in the outer world."
The moment the three twins heard Asgard mention wars, worry crept onto their faces.
Just the thought of battle made their hearts tighten—they did not want to see such cruel scenes, nor imagine any member of their family falling into them.
When Asgard noticed their gloomy expressions, his tone suddenly changed. He spoke lightly, with a hint of teasing:
— "What is it? Are you afraid of war, little twins?"
They answered in low voices, filled with sincerity:
— "We are afraid of what it brings… of the dead and the wounded, Grandfather Asgard…"
At those words, laughter echoed through the place.
The twins were startled by his reaction, but what he said next eased their hearts and ignited a spark of curiosity about the future.
Asgard spoke calmly and confidently:
— "Do not worry, little twins. Even if those dear to you die… they will return to me eventually.
As for the rulers who have awakened their power and fused it with their souls—
even if they die, they can reincarnate into the body of one of my descendants who has yet to awaken their power."
Hearing this, the three twins felt their hearts settle at once. One of them asked hesitantly:
— "But… isn't war frightening, Grandfather Asgard?"
Asgard frowned, his expression turning serious.
— "War is eternal, little ones.
It happens in every era, in every place…
even among those who share the same viewpoints."
Silence fell as the twins absorbed his words. Then they spoke softly:
— "Can't we avoid it, Grandfather Asgard?"
He replied gently, without irritation at their many questions:
— "No, my little ones.
We may hide from the world for a long time…
but war will eventually come to us."
Then he continued more firmly:
— "That is why it is better to bring the war to them.
It is better that we start it."
The three twins frowned slightly, but before they could respond, Asgard interrupted them:
— "And do not forget… we are a race that grows stronger through war.
We were made for glory and victory."
His voice deepened, filled with unwavering certainty:
— "As long as we seize new roots and new lands and merge them with me—Asgard—we will grow stronger.
You as well, and all the rulers of Asgard…
even those who have not yet awakened their power will grow stronger as long as we are victorious."
He concluded in a calm yet decisive tone:
— "Remember this, my little ones…
The fire of hunger for power and evolution will never be extinguished.
War is not the end…
It is the beginning of everything."
